31st Aug 2024 (20 days ago)I was incredibly impressed with Paul Graham Estate Agents. After being recommended to them, I was so glad I followed the advice. As a first-time mover in over two decades, the entire process was completely new to me. However, Jack took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which quickly put my mind at ease. The viewings were scheduled efficiently and at times that worked perfectly for me. Once the property went Under Offer, Jane took over the case and worked diligently to progress the sale. Despite some delays in the chain, Jane kept me informed throughout the process, which was greatly appreciated. If you're looking for a reliable estate agent in the Carshalton/Wallington area, I highly recommend Paul Graham. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to keeping clients informed made the moving process less stressful that it could have been. Saying that, I'm never moving again!
7th Sep 2024 (13 days ago)Unfortunately not a pleasant selling experience. Assured of the best service available pre sale. Minimal feedback provided during the entire sales process even after complaining to the manager more than once by phone and email. Sold by modern auction on agent’s advice but it became clear that how this worked wasn’t explained to prospective buyers who were viewing and expecting to be able to bid below the starting price! Genuinely a wasted 4 months. Ps Any C&W messages post review saying they ‘tried to reach out’ are intended to make it sound like they care.

24th Aug 2024 (27 days ago)The decision to go with Burn &. warne was down to the enthusiasm and passion shown by the person who did the valuation but after the contract was signed, this person disappeared from the company and those we dealt with thereafter was capable but lacked the passion we saw previously which was a shame.

As with most of us, selling or buying property is something we only do a few times in our life so it was wonderful to have Will on hand to answer all of my many questions. Will’s experience really shone through and I for one felt a lot more comfortable knowing that the sale of our property was in his hands.

Dan provided excellent feedback on how best to market my flat and made the correct call on the valuation that would ensure a speedy sale (very important when your flat is vacant and you are paying a mortgage). Adam the sales manager has kept me informed throughout the sticky process of selling a leasehold and got it all over the line as soon as we were all ready to exchange. I have no hesitation in recommending Ralph James to any buyers or sellers out there … they stand out amongst a sea of other estate agents in the area!

Carlos went the extra mile and dealt with a pet disaster that could have ended our sale, but ended up making sure it went through!
18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

4th Sep 2024 (16 days ago)We recently sold our house in SM1 with Butler's and would recommend them. They demonstrated good local knowledge and a thought out pricing and sales strategy. They were also able to get everything done to list the property and book viewings quickly, and followed through on everything they said they would. Our sale was mainly handled by Joanna, who was very responsive, reassuring, strategic and assertive when needed when other parts of the chain were being difficult. Her approach made a stressful experience much more manageable. Other members of the team we dealt with were also helpful and professional throughout.

Charlie was fantastic throughout the whole thing, very professional and friendly. He is a clear, honest, and consistent communicator who actually listened to our wishes, and was a massive help from start to finish. Very happy with our experience and how it was handled! I'd wholeheartedly recommend Foxtons, and specifically Charlie, for anyone looking to buy a place.
