This is the first time I’m letting out my property, and I really appreciate the guidance I’ve received from Mann. Both Sukh Uppal and David Baah are very professional and are quick to respond to my queries and requests. They led the process with minimal involvement required from myself but kept me informed throughout. When it came to decisions, they provided their honest opinions and suggested options according to my circumstance. They are easy to work with and I would recommend them.

I’ve been with this team for a couple of years now and I’m really happy with their service. Everyone is easy to deal with and always ready to help. I’d especially like to thank Lauryn Peacock for her support with a recent maintenance issue. She spotted the problem early, found the right contractors, coordinated everything smoothly with the tenants, and made sure the repairs were properly completed. She was a pleasure to work with throughout and really stayed on top of things.

I and my husband got a property from this company since early last month. After the whole vetting process we paid end of July and our move in date was slated for 31st of July .
Since then till today it’s been one story or another . They don’t pick calls or reply messages .
We’ve packed our luggages waiting for them to conclude on our move in .
They keep giving excuses about fixing the house , keep telling us you’d move today or tomorrow.
I have never seen this type of situation before in my life .
It’s literally the worst agency I have heard of .
Worst part of all these is the lack of feedback or communication from them .
I am pregnant and it’s stressing me the hell out.

had such an amazing experience with the letting agency despite a 1 day moving delay which added on to stress but also understandable as life goes on and sometimes things happen that we can’t control. We then went onto to rent the property through Sukh, Devlin and Sean.
They helped the whole way through referencing and signing the tenancy agreement.

Quality 0 they not say before the visit was a repossession and balif envoled than every day I received a call from mortage company but they only want cash buyer than they waste time of all the finance. When I ask to all the info basic legal info they disappear I waiting the document for 3 weeks and never received Im happy I not pay deposit total waste of time on the day of the visit the price on the paper was put up of extra10k
I never had a manager call me YOO BRO… and when I ask specific legal document from the repossession before I spent money everyone disappears if you are not expert in law please before spent 1£ ask to a solicitor, because here they consider you like a stupid person.. and always try to still money …
After I and my list of 7 legal document and the EMAIL OF OFFERT ON THE PROPERTY THEY DISAPPEARED… I’m happy I not send them 130.000£ on the day of the view please be far away from this companies

Sukh was extremely helpful with viewing the house and preparing the paperwork, his communication has been consistent throughout and he has been very supportive with some of the application processes, which I appreciated greatly.
David was the employee I signed my contract with and he was very welcoming and patient whilst I read through the finer details of my contract and he even gave me house warming gift filled with snacks and drinks to start me off in my new home. I would definitely recommend this branch for their speedy and diligent work and I will be returning to them if I decide to look for a new property!

The biggest thanks to Amelia without whom I don’t think my purchase would have happened! She was an absolute superstar throughout; always keeping me updated, doing all she could to move things along, super flexible and so accommodating in terms of contact as I have a busy schedule and couldn’t always answer calls.
She is a shining example of exemplary customer service! She also gave me a lovely congratulations gift on completion which, as if that wasn’t sweet enough, she had gone out of her way to fill it with vegan goodies as she knew I am vegan. I couldn’t believe it and still so touched by her kindness and thought!
She went above and beyond consistently throughout the entire process and is an absolute credit to Mann & Co! They are lucky to have her!

Stay away!!! Do not rent a property with them unless you want to be chasing them for months for some simple repairs. Their system is an absolute disaster. It's second time I am having issues in the property and it's been 4 months since I reported it and they can't be bothered to fix it.
They would not allow me to speak to the landlord, nor fix it. Whenever I call they say they will call me back and you never hear back from them.
The only time they were responding was when I had to renew the contract.
It is now winter , I have no proper heating in the flat and they still cannot be bothered to reply to my queries. Every week I hear they are looking into it and nothing happens.
This is not acceptable. You need to learn that property management is about customer service too and not sales only!!!

I have received a shockingly poor service from Mann Catford / Countrywide over the last six months. I would never use them again. The staff are incompetent, especially in the property management team. Staff turnover is high and communication is almost non existent at times. They should be ashamed of themselves.

We did experience a couple of hiccups though, which is why it's not 5 stars. Upon our scheduled afternoon viewing, MANN were unable to open the door, which meant we had to come back another day. I know they requested for the previous tenant to unlock it before our viewing but I believe they should have checked earlier beforehand to prevent us from making an unnecessary journey. Our names were also initially spent incorrectly on the contract, which was sorted out after an email and phone call.

Applied to rent a room under the condition my pet would be allowed a trial period to stay with me. After signing the contract, I found out on moving day from the owner themselves that they had retracted this offer, which the letting agents had failed to inform me. As I couldn't make last minute arrangements for my pet, I had no choice but to cancel and get my full refund, but I still ended up wasting precious time, effort and money over this ordeal.
Aside from Ravina who was very helpful with her prompt updates, I never received an official apology from anyone nor an offer to help me re-locate. Based on the positive reviews they are clearly capable so it's unfortunate I ended up having such a negative experience.

We had four estate agents value our property with the lowest and highest valuation differing by £90,000. This left us quite bewildered as to a realistic asking price. We then decided to have one last valuation in order to get a better sense of the market value. We chose Mann as they had received a number of good reviews on a local residents Facebook group. In all fairness we just wanted the valuation from Mann and didn't have any real intention of engaging them, but we were so impressed with the branch manager Claire's approach, genuine nature, and obvious interest in selling our property for us, it was an easy decision to make.
Claire was superb, full of energy and clearly very proactive in finding the right buyers for us. In fact when we went into the office to sign the agency agreement she already had a buyer lined up. She even went to the trouble of collecting him from the station late the following evening bring him for a viewing.
Claire negotiated hard for us to get right price and we were under offer in less than a week. She also gave us a good rate on agency fees.
In all honesty, I really don't think we could have done any better than engage Mann, and by the way their conveyancing offering pretty good as well.

Worst service ever!
1. They offered on the add a lot of things and at the end I had to negotiate to get a little part of it (they offered: professional cleaning, redecorated and spruced up thorogout).
2. They didn't advise about any specific time for moving, the contract was signed one day before of the moving day and they didn't give us the keys as they had to do the inventory (they had 2 weeks before to work on that, and just did it on the exactly day of moving at midday)- we had already a van hired and we had just to cancel and find out another alternative!!
3. The flat was supposed to be managed directly by the landlord and the day of signing the contract they said it was managed by them.
I definitely wouldn't use MAN again, they didn't give me peace of mind at any time.

Scott, Katie and Georgia have been amazing at finding me the right tenants. They worked great as a team and communication is defiantly their strongest aspect. I would not think about using any other agent. Fees reflect the great service :)

Great service from Peter the Lettings Manager and his team, as a multi landlord I have dealt with my fair share of agents and I have never been so impressed with how well this team work together everything was smooth, precise and effeicient. I was kept updated throughout the whole process, they found me brilliant tenants (when peter says he wouldn't put tenants in your house that he wouldn't put in his or his mums, he really does mean it) within a short space of time. Overall a brilliant service from Peter, Az and Katherine. Mann Lettings Catford are my go to agent even with properties not in the area, I will be recommending to all friends and family. New to the area and not having let a property there before I followed my usual practice of calling up the top Google listed agents in the area. I quickly narrowed the search to a couple of EA's who were both able to send a rep round the following day. Peter, manager at Mann's Catford branch, was first round, and by the end of the visit I had already signed up. For me, the charges and the T & C's were the main considerations and I was quite sure the deal wouldn't be bettered. Being listed on both Rightmove and Zoopla was another strong selling point. I signed up there and then not because Peter was a pushy salesman but, in fact, quite the opposite; all my questions were answered clearly and, I was sure, honestly. The second agent arrived just as Peter was leaving and I explained and apologised that I'd just chosen Mann's. All was cool :)
During the visit from Peter he had mentioned there was a girl on the database whom he thought might like the let. Well, Az, who had first visited himself along with Peter the next again day, and would be in charge of the viewings, came round with Rachel a week later for the first viewing and between us,there and then, we pretty much all agreed that it was a good fit for everyone and, all checks pending, the flat would be let. Which indeed it was! Rachel moved in last week.
Co-ordinating matters was Katie from whom I received calls ahead of visits from Peter and Az and to arrange viewings (though there were just a few, the flat being let so quickly). I didn't meet Katie in person though I did try and put a face to the voice when I visited the branch to drop off a set of keys. There were a number of friendly faces and I couldn't guess which might have been Katie.
Hopefully, and I'm sure it will be, a long-term service I receive from Mann's Catford branch. Thanks all!

I found Azfarul, Katherine and Peter not only very professional but extremely helpful and would highly recommend them. I, as a landlord have been using another agent quite happily for many years and decided to multi advertise with Mann on this occasion as my recent letting was taken longer than I expected. They found a most suitable tenant very quickly and the correspondence I had, both verbal and written could not be faulted. I am a person and normally do not review estate agents well so this is a first. Peter, Az and Katie have recently let out our flat to a new tenant. The service we received was superb - every detail taken care of and all our questions and concerns dealt with fully and quickly. The whole process was handled very smoothly and with enormous efficiency, and we felt very confident that everything that we had agreed was being remembered and adhered to - which creates a great sense of trust.
All their efforts were much appreciated. No-one likes paying management fees, but if you are receiving what you've paid for then you can't really complain.

We are happy with the service we have been receiving from Manncountrywide Catford letting team. Another estate agent was not keen to help us and told us to decrease the rent as there were too many flats in the neighbouring area at that time. Peter came to our flat shortly after my call, he assured us we could achieve the rent we wanted, and took professional photos the following day. Within 24 hours, we received 8 viewings set up, and the first viewer took our flat. We have a fairly large garden, and Az found perfect tenants who are keen gardeners! Administrator Katherine has been really helpful - she always responds our emails promptly and she is very organised, so I trust her service. I would recommend their service to potential landlords in Catford! Well done, team!

Great service from the Lettings team in this office, they had a tenant lined up for my property as soon as I completed on my purchase which avoided any void periods, which is great as this was my first Buy to let purchase and I started making money from it straight away. I actually ended up not letting with Mann how ever the service I received was absolutely brilliant. They constantly updated me on properties that were [to my surprise] within my budget, and within the area I was looking. No annoying messages or completely out of the way properties! The staff were a great help too and overall I felt very secure in dealing with them.

The service provided by the Catford branch of Mann Countrywide Lettings has been exemplary (Particularly Daniel and Adil).
They were able to process the initial tenancy application and referencing within 5 working days mainly due to the fact that it was handled efficiently.
They provide a professional working ethos, but they are very approachable and very good communicators. I had several questions during the process (which I'm sure they hear all the time), but they always found the time to respond quickly.
I have found a great new home and I have the confidence that it has been managed brilliantly.
