Coming back having just finished our tenancy with Newton Fallowell - Ben and Jayne have yet again been amazing throughout our tenancy. They have been quick to reply to emails and fix any problems as they came up, including replacing wooden windows and a leaking shower! They are both lovely and have been very accommodating and understanding. The end of tenancy has been such an easy process, with lots of flexibility and they were both very respectful when booking in viewings for the house. We have been renting with Newton Fallowell for over 12 months now and I can’t recommend them enough. At the start, Jayne was very helpful in arranging the property viewing and then in getting all the formalities sorted and getting us moved in quickly. Since then, they have always been quick to respond to any requests we’ve had, even replacing our electric shower when it started leaking. Ben has been very accommodating and understanding when they needed to book check-ins at the property. Both Jayne and Ben have always been helpful to us over the phone and in person. Jayne and Ben were amazing in finding our new home. Very quick turn around in doing checks etc ready for us moving in. We viewed our new home on the 9th of may and we had the keys and were moved in by the 22nd of May. All staff have been so friendly and helpful in our journey moving into our new home. We also have a integrated dishwasher which we found didn't work and within 24 hours they had sent somebody out to try and fix it but found they couldn't so had a new one ordered. Great service all round would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to move.

I did this initially because of their prompt service and excellent understanding of the local market. At all times they open to suggestions and being the first buy to rent let I needed a good deal of assistance - all of which was invaluable.

In my lifetime I have dealt with multiple lettings agents and none of my experiences habe been great to be honest. Ive noticed in recent years as the demand for rentals intensifies that this has only added to the poor service I've experienced previously.
So, imagine much to my pleasant surprise when me and my partner looked to view a rental in South derbyshire to have finally dealt with lettings agents that were everything you'd want and need from a lettings department.
Having been lucky enough to view and then apply for the property we wanted to let, the entire process has been seemless.from start to finish. Ben and jayne have made the whole thing so easy. If you need to email them, you get a swift response. They will always answer your calls. And if you're expecting a call that call will come. I know it all sounds very basic but these basics have always lacked in my experience previously. So thank you for restoring my faith and showing me that efficient and reliable lettings agents do exist! They are also extremely polite and pleasant to.boot!

We were most impressed initially by the demeanour of the estate agent who visited our house. Rather than being brisk and pushy, like some, he was courteous, well-spoken and reassuring. Equally, although we had left it until late summer to put the house on the market, all viewings were carried out by the agents and it was evident from feedback that they were doing a good job. Having decided to sell, I got 4 local estate agents to come out and value my property. It wasn't even close, Ben of Newton Fallowell stood out as the obvious choice to handle the sale.
Not only could he justify his valuation but I felt that this was someone i could work with if it turned out to be a difficult or long & protracted sale.
As it turned out, my property was only on the market for 2 weeks before i accepted an offer.
During conveyancing Ben co-ordinated all parties and chased up any loose ends as they arose. Communication was great throughout the process & all emails & whatsapp messages were replied to in a timely manner.
In short Ben of Newton Fallowell delivered exactly what he said he would on the first day we met, for which i am very grateful. I would definitely use his services again.

We recently used Newton Fallowell to sell our house. They have been absolute lifesavers after a totally awful start to selling and having to change agents due to issues with the housing authorities agents incompetence, we opted for them.
The process took almost a year to sell. Everyone at Newton Fallowell consistently went above and beyond at all times to get it to process as quick as was possible. They were absolutely brilliant in every way and a special shout out to Ben Foley and Simon for all there hard work dealing with solicitors, the housing association and the buyer!

After calling to discuss getting my property let after a tenant abandoned it, Ben came out to meet me, offered advice to get the property back on the market, had it listed within an hour of taking photos and the first enquiry within minutes of the listing going live. Ben & Jayne filtered enquiries to show only prospective potential future tenants around, and secured a new tenant within 4 days of listing. Were able to take care of arranging a solicitor and electrician I needed. All references and credit checks were dealt with promptly, so the whole process was very easy and light touch for me. Terrible experience on the letting side Avoid at all costs. Due to tenant leaving I find out that this estate agent had not followed through with any of their commitments. 1) the house had not been inspected for nearly 2 and a half years and then to be told it was inspected last year which was false information. 2) No EICR DONE Even though I had contacted them earlier in the year regarding this. They said they had contacted the relevant people to do this report in January but had not followed this through hence no report, also no epc renewed ran out on 10th March, no statements and a it's not our fault attitude!!! Should have learnt my lesson the first time when the tenant before did a runner and I had to LET THEM KNOW!!!! So don't waste your money on the monthly fees with this incompetent firm.

I've had dealings with the Company twice and I would never recommend them to anyone. The first time I used them, they lied and ( The Branch Manager) told me that the house I wanted was let, after they arranged for us to meet with the Landlord the night before and 4 months later the same house is still on the market. Why not just be truthful?
The second time I arranged a viewing of a property, I spoke to the Branch Manager who stated when he returned to his office he would text to confirm the viewing and I requested a call if the property had been let in the mean time. No surprise............no text received, no cancelation, and no contact to let me know that the property had been let before my viewing. I had to wait up after my night shift to call and find our that the property had been let. I am very very disappointed with the service received in both occasions.

Simon & Sharon were professional throughout the process. A slow start to getting any interest but a relaunch & new photographs helped. The sale proved difficult caused by our seller but Simon & Sharon managed to keep the chain intact, although touch & go at times completion was achieved.
