I was initially contacted by Lois (part of the William H Brown team in sudbury) to carry out some plumbing works in one of their landlords rental properties.
Lois was friendly & helpful in getting the job booked in between myself and the tenant and her professionalism didn't stop there... Once the job was completed, Lois took it upon herself to have my invoice dealt with swiftly and smoothly even though that wasn't her department.
She's an absolute credit to the William H Brown team... Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and so so helpful. Honestly can't sing her praises enough as employees don't usually go above and beyond their job roll the way Lois did.

I’ve mostly worked with Lois - who I’ve found to be very professional, friendly and kind. The circumstances of my move were quite delicate, and Lois did everything possible to ensure I was matched with a property asap. She answered all of my questions quickly, and went above and beyond to help me. I also briefly worked with Elliot towards the end of my journey, as Lois kindly organised this as knew she would be on annual leave during the days leading up to my move. Elliot was also very friendly and professional. When going in-branch, everyone is welcoming and chatty, it’s a lovely, warm environment. Another wonderful service provided by W H Brown in Sudbury, after my son completed his purchase through them.
All the branch team take the stress out of moving from start to finish.
Liz Dove is brilliant and her communication skill and follow up system is second to none especially when things get tricky, Liz is always there to sort things out, unlike our Estate Agent and Solicitors whose service compare to W H Brown was very poor.
They install so much confidence and trust, and honesty is fantastic from when Chloe showed us the property to Lauren and Tommy the branch manager expert opinion.
Special praise also goes to Chloe Thomas who has been friendly, polite and great with her update and know how, it has been great pleasure dealing with branch.
They have made our move from London to Sudbury very enjoyable and we have nothing but high praise from them all.
If anybody ever ask me to recommend an a good Estate Agent, I would don't know of a good one, but I do know of a great one in W H Brown Sudbury.

On the day of completion for a property that we bought through them (as first time buyers) they forgot to ring us to let us know that they had the keys to our house. The sale completed at 11am, and it was only when our solicitor called us at 3pm to ask us if we had received the keys that we got onto William H Brown. They had actually been handed the keys on the previous day.
In the 4 hours that we were sat waiting for the call, my anxiety levels went through the roof as I thought there had been a problem with the completion, and with very little way to get a hold of the solicitors as they were working from home and had no number to call, only email, we began to really panic. It was lucky that we didn't have the movers booked for our completion day, as it would have cost a fortune in waiting around.
Very unprofessional, and to say I am furious is an understatement. It's a shame that as a buyer, you have no choice over the agent that you have to deal with.

The Sudbury team at W H Brown have been absolutely brilliant and if you’re looking for a decent estate agent then these are the people!!!
I listed my house with another agent initially, who did a very poor job of advertising it and made me take my own viewings which I didn’t appreciate.
I decided to try W H Brown, partly off the back of reviews I had read of their service.
Tom was very personable when he came for the valuation and had a positive and confident manner which reassured me.
Morgan & Harvey were my point of contact and organised/took the viewings. They were both very efficient and professional and 5* communication.
Morgan was brilliant with any queries or concerns and credit to her for her sale negotiations.
Once an offer was secured, I dealt with Lisa their sales progressor over at the Halstead office. This woman is **incredible** and singlehandedly managed and pushed along the sales process and helped chase solicitors etc with charm, skill and professionalism!
I am genuinely glad I chose W H Brown and wholeheartedly recommend them - thank you!!

Initially we were somewhat disappointed with the service, but things got better later, we got a few viewings.
Once we had sold subject to contract, Lisa was appointed to chase everything including various solicitors and other estate agents. She rang us every week with a progress report , more if necessary and even pestered our solicitor for information. Without Lisa it would have been three stars Lisa deserves five stars.

Lisa and Morgen were really great to deal with, they did everything they could to help with a really problematic purchase, they were both very polite, and always returned calls as promised. The only slight negative we have is that the person who initially showed us around the property, had very little interest in the property or in us. He literally opened the door and stood aside whilst we looked around. Other estate agents were far more pro-active, talking us through the house and its possibilities with renovation etc.etc. Spend less time looking at yourself in the mirror and more time with your customers!

Never rented with William H Brown before - They seem to be infamous for there high setup fees which are substantially higher than other estate agents locally (David Burr offer reasonable fees).
That being said, lettings negotiator Hollie was brilliant at her work and managed to reduce the fees in some areas as well. She was a great representative of the company and kept me informed throughout the process.
The actual direct customer service with WHB is very good but as previously said (and commented by previous customers) the fees are the only downside!

My kitchen flooded in February 2017. After contacting William H Brown, they finally agreed to send out an emergency plumber after I stated I couldn't go an entire week-end without water. A huge amount of waste water had leaked under all my cabinet and started to make them rot. I kept contacting them to get the damage repaired but to no avail as the members of the property management team kept quitting and no one took over where the last one
had left off. So after months of calls, someone finally came out to repair the damp damage today! (2 August 2017) 6 months later!! And found that the initial repaire job wasn't done properly and everything has rotten through! It's disgusting that they would rent properties in this condition! If I wasn't 8 1/2 months pregnant I would move out! Shameful service!!!
