Plenty of effort went into promotion and viewings. Initial valuation exceeded our expectations but was ultimately a disappointment as no offers came close. We had already paid deposit on our next property and eventually time pressure meant that we accepted an offer £55k below asking price. This may well be a realistic valuation but suggests Savills (and others) have misread market in Ealing.

From start to finish Savills Chiswick has handled the sale of our house with effective professionalism. We chose Savills because they appeared to be the most efficient and proactive company we approached to sell our home.
Unfortunately once we’d signed up, they weren’t reliable and didn’t communicate with us regularly. Phone calls weren’t returned, our agent was never available when we rang. Feedback only given twice in 6 months.
We have now taken our property off the market until next year.
