21st Oct 2023 (1 year ago)Andrew , Patrick and Ian and colleagues at Hamilton & Stiller were supportive throughout the process from advertising our property, updated us after viewings and gave us advise regarding sale price , negotiations when selling. The photos of our house were exceptional and the photographer did a drone photo of our property and garden which we have kept. Would highly recommend this team in Ross-On-Wye branch. Great teamwork, consistent communication and support thank you.

14th Oct 2023 (1 year ago)Disappointed, impossible to get an answer quick enough so keep missing out on properties. Have struggled to find a property in Cardiff and when I do and contact the agents they take too long to answer/will not pass all the details I put forward to the landlords.

(1 reviews)17th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)Christine from Darlows is. easy to deal with ,i cant belive my house is now sold subject to contract .for a price i am happy with all in around 30 days ,she really knows the area ,i think with Darlows even though there fees are a little more ,you are paying for the amazing diversity of contacts they have .I was really impressed with them ,i bought the house from Christine at Darlows Tonypandy and now sold with them .So i have seen both sides of the coin and am very impressed a 5 star service all the way

I just rented a property with this branch and everything went through perfectly , Caitlyn and Abbie were absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t recommend enough honestly , they both showed great team work and were awesome , everyone else in the office was so polite and asked me how my day was going and made the effort towards me , I dropped my walking stick and the gent picked it back up for me so kind! As an elderly pensioner I’m not the best with understanding how renting works with the terminology for things but Caitlyn went through everything step by step with me and made the process to easy, Thanks so much again will definitely rent again with you guys!

I dealt mainly with Chloe and she was brilliant at communicating throughout the whole process, always returning calls or emails promptly and giving regularupdates. She actually saved me a big delay, due to my surveyors, by noticing they hadn't been in touch with the vendor after they told we they would be. Overall I would highly recommend.

Thank you so much for your all your hard work we love our new home :)

Daisy went over and above to help us practically and to offer advice every step of the way. 18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

31st Jul 2024 (12 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

They are a dedicated team, whereas, other agents lack the motivation to push the message out. They are very knowledgable in relation to the property markets, and as this is their sole business, and not belonging to a corporate office, this drives their passion to be successful in achieving and end result, whether in sales or lettings. Ashleigh and Conrad are very approachable and understanding in a clients needs, as well as offering the best advise regarding direction, movement and protocol regarding managing the property. I believe and trust the Barry team to deliver the best service one would expect from a property agent. You may try the rest, but, I advise to try the best! First!.
5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

14th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)The guys at Chapmans have assisted me in securing a property to rent and without question it has been the best experience ever regarding dealing with estate agents Lowri, a young trainee at the office was particularly excellent in the way she dealt with me very professional and businesslike, but friendly and very helpful at the same time. She dealt with the whole process superbly. Dane , the manager, was also extremely efficient, polite, pleasant, courteous and extremely prompt They made me feel like i was their only customer. Excellent service guys, well done ???? ????
