25th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)The worst and most incompetent estate agent I’ve ever experienced. Faiz seemed to have no idea of how a house purchase works. He constantly “forgot” things between conversations, including forgetting to pass messages between us and the seller throughout the process. This eventually caused the purchase to fall through. I would highly recommend NOT using James William estate agents, they are absolutely rubbish.

From start to finish Lee has been extremely helpful throughout the process from booking our first viewing to receiving our keys! All questions have been answered promptly and has been happy to help us throughout. Would strongly recommend his services to anyone selling their house!

Celia was fantastic, she was always available when I needed a question answered, she stayed in regular contact with me from the very first viewing right through to completion. Celia went above and beyond her duties, she helped speed up the process by speaking to solicitors and chasing things up for the vendor and I. I highly recommend Equus Property and when the time comes to move on i would not hesitate in contacting them to market my property. Thank you Celia for all of your help.

30th Oct 2021 (2 years ago)I'm shocked to be saying this, but after a few hurried 10-minute property viewings with a teenager who just wants you to hand over your life savings and not bother them further, Graham was a delight. I'm really happy we're in the process of buying a flat through him, an experienced professional and real human being.
Harding Green recently let an apartment with a very fast turnaround in the SW7 area for us and I would highly recommend HG as they all have great expertise and keep you fully informed throughout the letting process plus we now have a great tenant and no void period!

31st Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

31st Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Had used to purchase previously and to have valuations completed. When came to sell they were our first choice. The staff are helpful and friendly throughout. Was kept informed throughout the process and they answered all questions honestly and quickly Sold house quickly for good price Would use again !

St Augustine’s business centre, 125 Canterbury Road, Westgate on sea, CT8 8NL(35 reviews)22nd Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)This company has taken over my properties from another Agent that ceased trading, i never agreed this and many times informed them that ill be managing myself, my tenants have been getting payment reminders, when i brought this up, Martyn said this was not true, well 1 month on ,another lot of payment reminders, remember this agent does not manage my properties, now they have taken the payment from 1 of my tenants and increased his rent without a section 13, for some reason this company thinks it can trade beyond the law, beware,, if this is how they treat someone who don't use their services, how do they treat the ones that rent or even let though them.unreal. UPDATE.. Martyn Stampe of Frederick & Co Property services... He has been sending rent demands to my tenants even though he doesn't manage the properties, this was all discussed in numerous emails and telephone calls throughout July. He also said that my tenants were seeing things with getting reminders as he said he never sent them. 1 month on they get the reminders again, remember he has nothing to do with my tenants or properties, 1 of the tenants thought it was a new agency who was now managing, and paid the amount requested that was £50 over the set rent. I spoke to Martyn yesterday and he admitted he doesn't manage the properties and that it was the tenants fault for paying him and the deduction was due to costs involved in collecting the money and resending the rest to my account, i then again said, you do not manage the properties, he admitted that and refused to refund the costs that he deducted. Since then i have spoken to the Police and this is a criminal matter, as the tenant was deceived into thinking they are entitled to collect and increase the rent on my behalf. so as you see, this very Smug Martyn thinks he can do what he wants..
