Dear Ryan, I’m still waiting for the £130 that were taking unfair and without my approval. You already agreed to return this money because you know the agency did not have the right to take it. I want to receive this money transferred in my account or cash or as a check I can collect from the branch. I DO NOT want to provide a copy of my ID AND my current address as you asked because it is not necessary and I prefer not to disclose to you my new address. Also, I would welcome the opportunity to view /read the “good reviews” the other 2 tenants gave to your company. I also expect the company to return the money deducted from the deposit for the professional cleaning unless a receipt from a cleaning company having that date can be provided. I have reason to believe the agency is using this as an excuse to charge tenants at the end of the contract. I remind you, the professional cleaning was not present at the beginning of the tenancy and the property was left in clean conditions, was no need for professional cleaning. I also believe you post wrong information regarding the company. Truepeny has 3 branches: Dulwich, Charlton and Greenwich, it is the same company, different branch and this the official site of the company. I was going to wait until the end of our student tenancy to review Mann but I am certain the service will never improve, so why would I wait? Mann Lettings will consistently let you down. I don't know whether it is because we are students that we do not get a good service, but if I could give them zero stars, I would. The staff lie to you, the staff contradict each other, the staff make promises they can't keep. No one seems to know what is going on - and that's just the letting agents. Hussam Nurie is the best thing to happen to the company, but there's little he could do for their reputation. Mann Prop - the organisation that is MEANT to look after you and the repairs in your property - are abysmal at best. 6 months in the property and we still have a front door that does not always shut properly and missing panels in our garden fence allowing people to just wander on to the property. We were without a washing machine for a month and nearly scammed into thinking we would have to wait another 6 months (luckily I kept the quoting guys number). The most recent drama is Mann Prop's belief that water leaking from a light socket is "not an emergency" and have left it for two months for the ceiling to fill up. My roommates and I have gone out of our way and spent our own money to fix issues in the house, to replace broken items in the house. Stay away at all costs.... Read more

02/03/2019 :Sam was the one who dealt with our questions and she was: professional, considerate and very quick at responding to our questions. She went above and beyond and emailed the landlord immediately when asked if we could add another tenant. We have had no issues with this estate agent so far and we have felt, as students, that we have been treated very well compared to other estate agents in the area. 07/03/2019: Amy is the one now handling out tenancy. In person she was professional and helpful when signing our documents. She was also well informed and explained parts of the contract well which we were not fully sure of. She is also very responsive to emails and is very fast at replying when there is an issue... Read more

We are extremely pleased with our decision to use Sandersons, Canterbury branch to sell our property. From the outset Heidi was extremely friendly when she valued our house and the guidance brochure they gave us on selling a house through them was very informative and miles better than anything the competitors supplied us with. Selling our house was made very easy with all members of the team working together to find us a buyer quickly and making sure communication was always clear and if we had any queries they would endeavour to answer swiftly. It’s a shame that I have to give them one star. I used them as a landlord and could not have had a worse experience. I came back to missing white goods, missing tools, screws and picture hooks in the walls, damaged kitchen work surface, shed full of the tenants possessions and even a bin (with no bottom) of dog feces in the garden. They did an incomplete inventory which I was never sent a copy of until the tenancy finished and I requested it because of the issues- fixtures and fittings as basic as light switches and taps have been missed off and every wall even those just painted by a professional decorator described as minor cosmetic damage. There was no checkout report done. I arranged to move back in three days after the tenancy ended however Northwood extended this by two days and claimed that from midday on the day the tenants left did not give them time to do a checkout report and never flagged this as an issue to me until I complained about all the issues I had and requested a copy of the checkout report. I also had to twice ask for rent. In the April they did not pay it in and I had to ask for the payment, then for the two extra days that the tenants stayed after their last payment- this payment I had to chase twice for. To top it off my complaint is met with examples of when they have done their job as if it excuses not doing the rest. I am taking this to the property ombudsman as they are not only in breach of the contract they had with me but also the guidelines they are supposed to operate within. If anyone would like to see evidence of this I have kept all the emails etc... Read more
