And I’ll specially appreciate one of the agents Jazmyn Dennis who took charge of my letting process flawlessly, super timely and always responding to my millions of questions!!! I will recommend them always to anyone trying to find a good home with a seamless experience and process.
20th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)Based on our own personal experience dealing with the Head of Sales at Laing Bennett, we found all the hype and the high levels of service on offer fell way short of the mark. Two very basic oversights/errors by the person in charge of Sales really was laughable although the head of sales took exception to her shortcomings when notified by email. The key failure and final straw on her part was her failure to properly arrange photography and a floor plan in one visit. Instead when arranging the third party company to carry out photography and a floor plan, she actually notified the company to carry out photography and an EPC in error. We didn’t require an EPC as our current EPC is valid until 2028. This meant it was going to be necessary for a second visit by the same company to complete a floor plan so wasted time for us and the photographer.<br><br>We had dealings with two other members of staff from Laing Bennett when they came to get an overview of the property and we must say what a contrast, both very professional and switched on which unfortunately wasn’t the case with the Head of Sales. The many positive reviews of this company are undoubtedly genuine, as is ours but on our experience we would have to suggest to any of our friends or colleagues looking to move, choose an alternative agent.
27th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)As a father, I am disgusted by the condition of the student accommodation my son is renting through Martin & Co Canterbury.<br><br>I work in construction and have seen plenty of building defects over the years, but what I witnessed at this property is deeply concerning. Extensive cracking, walls separating from ceilings and floors, and doors that no longer close properly — all developing within weeks of the students moving in.<br><br>Despite the students repeatedly reporting issues, the agency's response has been completely inadequate.<br><br>I expect my son to be able to live somewhere safe while attending university, not somewhere that raises serious questions about its structural integrity.<br><br>Extremely disappointed with the way this has been handled.

26th May 2026 (23 weeks ago)Duncan came to view and value our 6 bedroom property in Egerton …stayed for an hour and a half …. left promising to send detailed email valuation … two weeks later still nothing despite calling the office to check he had the correct details. Not very professional and not a good sign. Won’t be proceeding with savills

From the moment we dealt with Aidan Flynn, the Branch Manager, and Angela Morse, that feeling completely changed.<br><br>Aidan was absolutely fantastic in going through so much relevant data to help us get set up. He was professional, approachable and, most importantly, genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome for us. Angela was equally brilliant and went above and beyond to help us find our onward move, which took a huge amount of pressure off our shoulders.<br><br>There were moments when the whole process felt overwhelming with some solicitor/chain delays, but having Aidan and Angela there made us feel like we weren’t dealing with everything alone. They kept us informed, listened to us and always did everything they could to move things forward.<br><br>After the experience we’d had previously, we had honestly lost a lot of faith in estate agents. Aidan and Angela completely restored that faith. They treated us like people rather than just another transaction, and that meant more to us than they probably realise.<br><br>We are genuinely so grateful to both of them for helping us sell our home and, just as importantly, helping us find our next one.<br><br>Thank you, Aidan and Angela, for your patience, kindness, hard work and for being there when we really needed you. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough and will always be incredibly thankful for everything you did for us.<br><br>5 stars really do not feel enough.<br><br>Colin & family.
23rd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)I am very happy with my experience selling property through Christopher Hodgson Estate Agents. This is the 3rd time I have used them, for very good reason, they are excellent at what they do: We were made to feel confident and comfortable throughout the sale.<br>Once the brochure had been published (on every major online platform,) they arranged many viewings, always keeping us up to date with viewer feedback and providing useful advice along the way.<br>After we had accepted an offer, (we had several,) we were regularly kept up to date with sale progression, the staff being particularly good at solicitor liaison, making sure all the parties involved in the chain were kept informed of the various complexities as they arose. All the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and approachable.<br>Really happy with the service and I thoroughly recommend using Christopher Hodgson if you are selling in the Whitstable/Tankerton area.

31st Oct 2026 (2 days ago)Did a couple of viewings ourself as no one was available. Had to phone them constantly to find anything out, as communication was very poor. As soon as ours had sold, they didn't care about us. We made ourselves homeless so our sale didn't fall through. I would not recommend them

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

We met with 3 agents for valuation and felt that Damien gave us the best advice re listing price. The app they set up for all communications between us was excellent. They also were easy to get hold of if needed a call.
