20th Jun 2026 (13 weeks ago)Based on our own personal experience dealing with the Head of Sales at Laing Bennett, we found all the hype and the high levels of service on offer fell way short of the mark. Two very basic oversights/errors by the person in charge of Sales really was laughable although the head of sales took exception to her shortcomings when notified by email. The key failure and final straw on her part was her failure to properly arrange photography and a floor plan in one visit. Instead when arranging the third party company to carry out photography and a floor plan, she actually notified the company to carry out photography and an EPC in error. We didn’t require an EPC as our current EPC is valid until 2028. This meant it was going to be necessary for a second visit by the same company to complete a floor plan so wasted time for us and the photographer.<br><br>We had dealings with two other members of staff from Laing Bennett when they came to get an overview of the property and we must say what a contrast, both very professional and switched on which unfortunately wasn’t the case with the Head of Sales. The many positive reviews of this company are undoubtedly genuine, as is ours but on our experience we would have to suggest to any of our friends or colleagues looking to move, choose an alternative agent.

26th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)Duncan came to view and value our 6 bedroom property in Egerton …stayed for an hour and a half …. left promising to send detailed email valuation … two weeks later still nothing despite calling the office to check he had the correct details. Not very professional and not a good sign. Won’t be proceeding with savills

If I could give no stars I would have! Sales progression is laughable, attention to detail is non existent. Avoid the stress, avoid this sleepy outpost!<br><br>Customer service and complaints process are a farce, so called "quality assurance director" refused to even discuss my complaint! It seems that it's perfectly acceptable for their estate agents to negligently misrepresent buyers position with total impunity. Bought and sold lots of properties and these are the worst I've ever used! Avoid, avoid, avoid!
11th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Motis Estates Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents have been horrendous with my daughter to the point we had to get the environmental health involved resulting in huge fines for the landlord. They are very unprofessional and will give out confidential information out to everyone and anyone especially their tradesmen. When my daughter complained about one of them, about their shoddy work & being sexually harassed, they told him & he then started calling and threatening & verbally abusing my daughter & her husband at his work, to the point we called the police, they still have him work for them!! Honestly unbelievable. They will even try & gaslight you into being the problem. They really are awful

6th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)On behalf of my parents, I would like to thank Kent Estate Agents in Tankerton for all the help and support they gave them during their move. After living in their previous home for 50 years, this was a huge and emotional step, and the kindness shown by the team made such a difference.<br><br>Right from the start, Harry was patient, thoughtful and incredibly considerate. He took the time to show them around several properties, never rushing them and always making sure they felt comfortable. My dad was very poorly at the time, and Harry’s gentle manner and understanding meant a great deal to us.<br><br>Throughout the process, my parents needed a lot of reassurance, and Harry, Hugo and Caroline were always at the end of the phone keeping them updated, answering questions and easing their worries. Towards the end of the move there were a few stressful weeks, and exchange and completion had to happen on the same day. This caused a lot of anxiety for my parents, but the team at Kent did everything they could to move things forward and support them through it.<br><br>We especially wish Harry all the very best in his career as an estate agent. His kindness and thoughtfulness have been outstanding, and my parents often commented on how lovely and reassuring he was. He was always happy to take their endless phone calls, never making them feel like a bother, and his calm manner really helped them through a very stressful time.<br><br>My parents and all of our family are extremely grateful for the care, patience and professionalism shown by everyone at Kent Estates. They didn’t just help my parents buy a home; they helped them feel settled, reassured and genuinely looked after during a very significant moment in their lives. She provided excellent service throughout the whole process and was always friendly, professional, helpful and responsive. As I am not a very fluent English speaker, I especially appreciated how patient and encouraging Gabrielle was. She always made an effort to understand what I meant and made communication very easy and comfortable for me. It was a real pleasure dealing with Gabrielle, and I really appreciated her support and excellent communication throughout the process. I would also like to thank the other members of the team, who were very helpful, friendly and professional. Everyone I dealt with provided excellent service and made the whole experience smooth and positive.

When we came to sell, we knew who we wanted to represent our flat. The whole team was amazing from start to finish. The initial meeting was clear and well-researched. Throughout the process we received excellent communication. We achieved a quick sale at a good price. I’d recommend Woodward & Bishopp to anyone looking to buy or sell.

Well, you don't stay with the same organisation for over a quarter century if they are not looking after your interests in a highly competant manner.<br>Jade Clubb, is the latest Sandersons staff member looking after my interest, though I have never been dissapointed with any of Sandersons staff who I have crossed paths with over the years.
