10th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)Beware of this Estate Agency - Specifically check before proceeding with an offer or purchase through G Herbert Banks, if they are aware of any active AG TAG attached to a property they are actively marketing for sale (be it with or without a Certificate of Lawfulness) it might save you a lot of money, time, effort and heartache in the long run.

29th Apr 2024 (19 weeks ago)Having sold our previous property through the excellent service of another branch of Savills, we registered with the Telford branch to search for a purchase in this area. Amy Meldrum-Beechey kept us fully informed about potential properties, some of which we viewed. Whilst on this occasion we selected a property being marketed by a different agent, we experienced the same quality of service from Savills as a prospective purchaser that we did as a vendor.
6th Aug 2020 (4 years ago)I recently sold and purchased a house through the Kinver office. It was during the very stressful national lockdown and consequently all communication had to be done either on the phone or by email. Dawn, based at the Kinver office, was always upbeat, willing to help and allay any worries. Both sales were handled with professionalism, kindness and with, i might add, much patience by Dawn. I could not have wished for more helpful, kinder staff and I would highly recommend Midcalf Nicholls to anyone. A big thank you to all at the Kinver office. Billy Pooler

We felt the house was accurately priced however one viewing leaves us wondering about the marketing quality as other houses similar to our last in the area had sold. On a personal note the agent we dealt with was friendly, helpful and answered any questions swiftly.

23rd Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Requested via Rightmove to view a property for sale with Shipways.Agreed they could also value my home. Received 4 calls from 4 people who had no recollection of the previous call. Hagley branch insinuated it was my fault for contacting Kidderminster branch. Argumentative, unprofessional approach. The lady who was coming to value my home called to ask what my plans were, how strange when she could have asked me during her valuation 2 hours later. Needless to say I cancelled the appointment as I wouldn’t trust them to sell it.

Unit 1 and unit 2 Cupola, Spetchley, WR5 1RS(3 reviews)31st Aug 2024 (9 days ago)We were buying our dream house through Andrew Grant in 2023 and they were selling ours as well, to supposedly make the process easier. I would never use or recommend Andrew Grant for either selling or buying property. Andrew Grant insisted on a £5000 reservation fee for the house we wanted to buy (more than the normal £3000). Andrew Grant then put the house (we thought we were buying) back on the market after just 4 months, but refused to give us our £5000 reservation fee back. At the same time they changed the wording across their website from “the property ‘will’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” to “the property ‘may’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” after the buyer pays the reservation fee. The matter is now being dealt with by The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards will hopefully be involved. Buyers beware- do not leave a reservation fee with Andrew Grant! Any buyers or sellers considering using Andrew Grant should read their T&Cs very very carefully before entering into any agreement with them and keep all copies of any correspondence.

1st Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)Ive just sold my property with Re-Max Stourbridge and Stan and his team have been amazing through every step of the process. Very professional and approachable, very regular updates as to what was going on and honest advice and support. There is nothing worse than having to chase things to find out what is going on but i dident have to with re-max - they kept me regularly updated with the sale, and the response to phone calls and emails is amazing, i could always get hold of someone and they always ring you back! I've had a really stressful time with solicitors with the onward purchase, and Stan went above and beyond with communicating with them and the chain/ estate agents to try and get things resolved and the sale moving forwards. Just a brilliant service! Thank you! I would 100% recommend Re/Max Stourbridge if you are selling your property.
