30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

19th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Extremely poor experience and lack of professionalism. Had a viewing booked for 4 pm today. I notified the estate agent that I would’ve arrived 10 mins late, and it turns out the estate agents not only could not accommodate a really short delay and do the viewing at 4:10 pm instead, but they couldn’t have done 4 pm either due to staff constraints and poor communication with the property management agency. And they made it seem like it was my delay that was the issue, when actually 4 pm wouldn’t have been possible from the start. However, what is most upsetting to me is that they only called to inform me when I was on the train already to go and see the property - a 4 hour journey. And after the day before the viewing was confirmed again over the phone. So it’s honestly beyond comprehension to me how a short delay could be met with such intransigence. The viewing would’ve lasted more than 10 minutes anyway - this is just ridiculous.
18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

After deciding to relocate from our home in Greater Manchester, we found a property in Cleveleys which Susan Eve were selling and proceeded to put in an offer which was accepted. Unfortunately this sale fell through and we once again began the hunt for a suitable property. We found the property which has now become our home which was also being sold by Susan Eve in Thornton. Carly was our point of contact and was professional yet personal in her approach as were all of the team that we dealt with. They were most thorough in keeping us up to date with the buying process throughout. On the day of moving in, we were presented with a welcome pack filled with information and goodies. I would not hesitate in recommending this business to anyone considering buying or selling their home. Well done ladies. Graham and Annette Cummings

I have to commend the services of Emily and Jessica at Unique Estate Agency Fleetwood who got me my viewing when i wanted, and took care of all the minor detail from here forward. An excellent service I would say and would almost certainly be my next option when rebuying or renting. Thanks to all the Team x

Although probably the most stressful of times as is widely known, their professionalism shone through right up to the point we collected our keys. However Harvey provided great support throughout the process and ensured the transaction came to a close with always a positive attitude. Particularly the unbiased support we got from Harvey as buyers towards a short term let due to delays in buying the property was the most helpful. Highly recommend!
