19th Sep 2018 (5 years ago)Haart approached my property sale with a plan that worked and my house was SSTC within a few weeks. It took me 4 months to find the right house to buy and Neil held the sale together for 6 months so I didnt lose my buyer! Neil kept on top of everything and everyone I spoke to in the office was courteous and efficient. I woukd use Haart again and highly recommend them.
1st Jan 2021 (3 years ago)From the first contact through to final completion of the sale, every step of the way with Bedfords was efficient, courteous and professional. First up was delivery of a valuation and selling proposal by hand on the same day as the initial visit to the property. We had three agents come to value and Bedfords outperformed the others with ease at this stage. From then on I was kept up to date with every viewing (this was an empty property - executor sale) with feedback and suggestions. The final negotiations and sale process were conducted efficiently and in a timely manner. Thanks to Susie Potter and the whole Bedfords team - realise this has been a challenging year and you were very busy - but Well Done.
19th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)I signed up with Michaels to sell my home. Initially, during the valuation and walk through, they presented well and gave a good pitch which I felt fitted in with my needs. However, the promises and standards fell short of the expectations set. On the day that the pictures were due to be taken, 20 mins before arrival, the branch manager cancelled as he felt unwell. There was little understanding from them that I had been prepping the house to make it look the best it could and spent all morning cleaning. To suddenly be let down with minimal notice was poor and despite claiming to be very ill, turned up the following day right as rain. The first issues should have been an indication as to how it would have gone but I chose to give then the benefit of doubt and work with them. However, there were still issues, such as having to chase for the EPC and floor plan to be uploaded to the advert which took three weeks after launch and a couple of viewings where the buyers seemed to know little about the property. A few times they had called me to arrange a viewing, we discussed and then would never call me back to confirm the outcome. Again, it just shows a lack of engagement from them. Michaels seemed great but for me and on this occasion, fell short of my expectations and the mandate that they were trying to deliver on.

At every stage of the process they were helpful, and went out of their way to build a good relationship between buyers and sellers which worked to everyone's advantage-- especially as in this case the sellers will be our future neighbours. We had very well arranged zoom calls and resolved timing issues to do with stamp duty, moving dates, etc. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and we are very grateful to Sophia and the team.

Mark Hall navigated us through a complex probate sale, and proved to be very effective and completely trustworthy.
