From the very beginning, Robert, the managing Director who dealt with the sale was so professional, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive throughout what was a very emotional and stressful time for our family. What really set them apart was that they went far beyond simply selling the property. Their advice, guidance and reassurance throughout the entire process were absolutely invaluable. Nothing was ever too much trouble — they were always available to answer questions, explain things clearly and offer genuine support when we needed it most. Their communication was excellent, keeping us updated every step of the way, and their experience and dedication gave us complete confidence throughout the sale. The property sold smoothly and efficiently thanks to their hard work and commitment. 15th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recently had the issue of trying to sell a piece of land in Framlingham which had full planning permission but was curtailed with a Unilateral Undertaking with ESCC. Oliver Johnson, a Director of Clarke and Simpson, could not have been more helpful. He navigated us through the intricacies of planning, found a buyer and when our solicitor, Ross Coates, was closed down, he found us a new solicitor who rapidly concluded the sale. Oliver`s handling throughout could not be faulted. His communication skills and support were amazing with immediate e-mail and telephone responses. Without the knowledge and contacts that Clarke and Simpson have, I doubt that we should have sold the land, let alone advertised it. A definite rewarding experience for us. 10th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)I’ve been living in a property managed by them for over a year now and they have been great! They have dealt with every issue promptly and professionally, they are supportive not only to the landlord but to all tenants with equal fairness. If you communicate with them properly, pay your rent on time and keep the property in good condition you will find that renting through them was a wise decision. As a former lettings negotiator for several companies I can find no fault with this agent and highly recommend.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

4th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)These are some of the worst estate agents I’ve ever dealt with. Put an offer in on a house 2 weeks ago and have provided all evidence requested and was told my offer was one of the best ones and that I should feel confident. Since then it’s been impossible to get hold of anyone who can give any information about what is going on. They asked my conveyancer to call to confirm the stage of my chain and the manager/director told my solicitor that the case had been taken away from the team member dealing with it, as she’d apparently been telling all the prospective buyers what they wanted to hear and stringing us all along for weeks. I have spent all morning trying to get hold of the manager to try and find out what is going on, I keep being told not she’s in yet (it’s 1pm) and I’ll get a call back. Eventually had to speak to one of the office people who said the vendor had accepted one of the other offers. When I complained about how badly this had been managed and how unfair it was to string people along like this, the boy on the phone literally huffed at me like a moody teenager and said it wasn’t his fault and then started whining about having to deal with the complaint, then said good bye and hung up. I would avoid this company at all costs.

9th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)5 starts purely for Kyra Naomi, we ended up enduring a 9month sale that was not straight forward and Kyra was attentive the entire time. Most people in this situation would give up or not be bothered as it took so long but Kyra was always on the phone or available by text never an issue. Great employee. TA did not act on behalf of me but Kyra was great to deal with.

We're retired and wanted to rent .the lady who got us sorted were exellent could not be more helpfull and they call the lady Donna who dos the letting. She found us a lovely place to live with everything we need .went in to office in woodbridge and all the staff made us all at ease and a cup of tea .and everything went very quickly so we could move into new home .very very big thank to Donna and the staff in office. 28th May 2026 (22 days ago)Absolutely delighted with the excellent care and service we have had from the team at Minors and Brady recently selling our house in Diss. Each person we engaged with from the office was incredibly professional and gave great advice and support, metaphorically holding our hands through the process. Stand out mentions in particular to Joe, Nicola and Matthew who always went above and beyond in looking after us and we also appreciated all the help from Morgan and Chelsea with viewings. They had regular check-ins and updates with us and they were always contactable and responsive to messages and questions which we really valued. Very pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend them.
