From the very beginning, Peter was incredibly supportive and approachable. Buying a property can often feel overwhelming, but he took the time to explain every step clearly, ensuring I felt confident and informed throughout the process. No question ever felt too small, and he was always patient and reassuring. What really stood out was Peter’s efficiency and attention to detail. He kept everything moving smoothly and proactively updated me at every stage, which made a huge difference in reducing stress. His responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile showed a genuine commitment to helping me secure the best possible outcome. Overall, my experience with William H Brown has been excellent, and Peter in particular made what could have been a complicated process feel straightforward and manageable. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, especially if you have the opportunity to work with Peter.

One thing that has stood out is how well any issues or requests are handled through the ticket system. It feels organised, professional, and it’s easy to keep track of progress. Justin was very helpful from the start, showing us the house, sorting out the paperwork, and making sure everything went smoothly when we moved in. Since then, the team has been responsive and helpful whenever needed.

4th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Don't even waste your time. Viewed a house on Monday. Asked for an application for it. Did not come through so chased it. Eventually came through on Tuesday, so filled it out and sent it in. Then told on Wednesday that it had been rented. Turns out they did not wait for my application, even though they knew it was coming. Just presented the first one they got to the landlord, who no doubt acepted it because he thought it was the only one. Since when has renting been a race and the winner is whoever gets the application in first. Waste of my time.
10th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)My case was a lengthy one as there were works required following surveys and the team at Harris and Wood were always in contact, offering support and advice throughout. They also kept my buyers in place from start to finish which was circa 10 Months so was really grateful for that.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We're retired and wanted to rent .the lady who got us sorted were exellent could not be more helpfull and they call the lady Donna who dos the letting. She found us a lovely place to live with everything we need .went in to office in woodbridge and all the staff made us all at ease and a cup of tea .and everything went very quickly so we could move into new home .very very big thank to Donna and the staff in office. 27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
