Tommy’s appraisal was a great first impression, and there was a clear distinction between their service and others we’d invited to appraise. They gave us actionable advice to prepare us for market and give us the best chance. This followed through to those in the office, who cared and knew about our sale in detail and gave us reassurance we were going to be well looked after. Thank you to Clare in particular. Andy conducted most of our viewings and was knowledgeable, and positive and we knew had provided an excellent experience for potential buyers, based on feedback. Finally, Will was invaluable in aftercare and kept us in the loop without chasing, a pleasure to deal with. An exemplary service from all and we’d have no hesitation in recommending them.

She is polite, obviously trustworthy and has a good sense of humour which anyone dealing with me needs. I was sorry I didn't like the house enough to buy it for her to make a sale. Sandra Gold-Wood
3rd Apr 2024 (15 days ago)Selling my house with another agency. Today get a call from Abbotts, asking me "how it's going." I enquire if I'm with them, and they admit that they know that I am not. They give the name of the agency I am with. I then ask them not to call again. The salesman ignores this and is still talking as I end the call. Yuk.
20th Oct 2023 (5 mo. ago)As a landlord, who lives overseas, I've been with Penningtons for over 20 years. They have always communicated efficiently and clearly about my property and have always been on the ball with renting the property and looking after the tenants in it. Obviously, over 2 decades, there have been 1 or 2 minor issues, but the positives have far out weighed the negatives.

11th Apr 2024 (7 days ago)It should not have been this difficult to get my deposit back from my shared tenancy that was ended totally legitimately in the correct way. This was something that was made unnecessarily complicated. The experience of getting the deposit back and the suggestions of incoming tenants paying me directly caused so much unnecessary stress. It should never be this hard to get a deposit back and it should not take days to do so when you’ve been a legitimate and good tenant.

(40 reviews)19th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)Upon moving in, the sofa, chairs, and bed were broken, I've been left without heat for two weeks in winter, and the agents themselves try to brush you off with promises things "will get fixed" and leave you hanging. There were also silverfish found in multiple rooms of the apartment. One agent who was supposed to fix my thermostat and heating was in the building but couldn't be bothered to wait for the lift so went back to the office and I was left with no contact as to where they were or what he was doing until I called over an hour later. Absolutely appalling.

They gave me a property without breaking clause because my job was also not stable. They gave me a firm support when I needed the most. And I shall always remain obliged for it.
27th Feb 2024 (7 weeks ago)After dealing with an absolutely unreliable agencies we were nicely surprised and well impressed with Felixstowe Leaders team's approach. Olivia, our Agent, is dedicated to her job rising the standards for the industry. She showed a lot compassion to her work, a lot of empathy and understanding to tenant's needs and proved professionalism at every step of letting process. Always in good mood, polite and patiently answering all questions ... even if asked the same one for a tenth time :-). She was well supported by Marcus and Carlene. Thank you guys!

At every stage of the process they were helpful, and went out of their way to build a good relationship between buyers and sellers which worked to everyone's advantage-- especially as in this case the sellers will be our future neighbours. We had very well arranged zoom calls and resolved timing issues to do with stamp duty, moving dates, etc. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and we are very grateful to Sophia and the team.

Shane came round and had our house on the market within a day with a number of viewings lined up and we sold the same day! We are now in our forever home and couldn't be happier! 8th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)Shocking service. Failed to tell me my buyer's funds were subject to probate or that there was a related sale. This meant I couldn't make an informed choice. They belittled me for not using their preferred conveyancers. They made the whole process more stressful than it needed to be. Avoid.
15th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)The main reason we used Potters estate agent was because of the friendly almost bespoke service that you receive from them. All the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and go above and beyond what's expected. They guided us through the sale of our father's property and made it as easy as possible, especially when the purchaser required extra confirmation regarding some issues, Karen was an excellent mediator. Adam is very professional and kept us informed throughout the process and the company Owner Bradley was there to help too. Potters are a great local estate agents.
