2nd Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Featherstone Leigh are by far the best estate agent in Teddington. Friendly and helpful staff and were very happy with the viewings they did of our flat. We have rented with them and now sold our house with them. They sent a professional photographer to come and take the photos. There was good communication throughout with a WhatsApp group. We also had good feedback from them to our new estate agent who also said they were a pleasure to deal with. Sell your house or flat with Featherstone Leigh. You won't be disappointed.

15th Jan 2024 (17 weeks ago)Generated limited number of viewings and did not qualify leads particularly well e.g. our apartment is on the 3rd floor next to a railway line and a number of viewers mentioned they were worried there was no lift and that it was too close to the train lines. First set of photographs of the apartment (when advertisement is most likely to have the biggest impact) were not good - the colours looked washed out). Only 'strategy' to create more viewings was to reduce the asking price by £100k!
17th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Went to view a house with these estate agents,really friendly and communicated so well via email, and they are really respectful and I enjoyed viewing with them, sadly the property wasn't for us but I would recommend viewing through these guys based on thier customer service alone.

From the initial, straight-forward and honest first meeting and valuation, through to completion, it was a pleasure dealing with Russell, David and the team. Cantell are an independent estate agents that know the Richmond market well and provide honest advice. We would happily recommend and use Cantell again if we need to in the future.
31st Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)The chap who we first saw seemed very straightforward and easy to deal with. He didn't seem to be trying to impress us particularly, just being straightforward. He was probably in his forties and had been in the trade for quite a while and was the owner of the Seymours franchise which we thought was a good sign. He was never pushy throughout the process and his team members were of the same ilk. Straightforward, easy to talk to and helpful. Once the house went on the market they got a lot of viewings in in a short time, so they were obviously good at attracting potential buyers. Oh, and I was offered 1% commission + VAT without even have to negotiate. This was important, but the overall feel of Seymours was more important. Communication was generally good, it was easy to talk to someone when I needed to.

7th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I recently had the displeasure of working with Robert as a real estate agent, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Throughout the entire purchasing process, Robert exhibited unprofessional behavior, prioritising his personal interests over the needs of the sellers he represented. One of the most concerning aspects of dealing with Robert was his tendency to make empty threats, almost like bluffs, in an attempt to manipulate the situation to his advantage. It became evident that he was more concerned about maximizing his commission than ensuring a fair and transparent transaction for all parties involved. Robert's demeanor was confrontational, selfish, and arrogant. His constant barrage of text messages on WhatsApp was not only unprofessional but also bordering on harassment. He blamed me for the delay in the process, conveniently ignoring the fact that crucial information, such as outstanding funds, necessary works of the property, and safety certificates, were deliberately being withheld by the seller's solicitors. To make matters worse, Robert attempted to shift the responsibility of obtaining the License to Assign onto me, despite it being the seller's obligation. This blatant attempt to pass on costs that were not my responsibility is a clear indication of his unethical and self-serving approach to the real estate business. Not only did Robert fail to uphold basic standards of professionalism by showing up to our first viewing in shorts, but Faith's performance during a subsequent viewing was equally disappointing. Despite being tasked with guiding me through the property, Faith couldn't get a single fact right. It was abundantly clear that she was completely clueless about the property, leaving me feeling frustrated and disillusioned. Overall, my experience with Robert was a complete disappointment. His unprofessionalism, threats, poor attire during the viewings and attempts to manipulate the situation for his benefit made the entire process unbearable. I would strongly advise anyone considering Robert as their real estate agent to think twice and explore other, more reliable and ethical options.

Not only did they find the perfect family to buy our home of 27 years but they were there 24/7 to solve any problems that arose during this stressful process. Any call at any time was not a problem, they were there, not just on the phone but personal presence, which was amazing..again!. We cannot thank Andrew and Charlane enough..Thank you!!..”highly recommended” “don’t go anywhere else!”.png)

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.

He is extremely professional and very pragmatic but he is also a great communicator and very well connected with trades people which helped a lot in getting the flat ready for tenancy. highly recommend him.
