Thanks to Rachel, the process of renting an apartment was easy, fast and stress-free. She was always in touch, explaining all the nuances that we did not understand. I recommend Foxton and especially Rachel to everyone who appreciates a professional approach, honesty and a high level of service.

Daniel was extremely well-mannered, communicated clearly at every stage, and immediately understood my needs and taste in property. What stood out the most was the genuine care and honesty shown towards customers. It is very important to feel respected and understood when making such an important decision, and he made the experience smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. From the very beginning, Jack was incredibly helpful, professional, and responsive, making what can often be a stressful renting process feel straightforward and easy to navigate.<br><br>He took the time to thoroughly show us around the property, explain every aspect of the rental process, and provide valuable insight into the current market. His knowledge, patience, and willingness to answer questions made everything much clearer and gave us confidence in our decisions.<br><br>What stood out most was how approachable and genuine he was throughout. Jack was always quick to respond, highly efficient, and made us feel supported every step of the way. His professionalism and honesty gave us a great deal of trust in both him and the agency he represents.<br><br>The agency as a whole has been excellent to deal with, providing a smooth, transparent, and professional service. Matilda is the most professional, responsible and reliable negotiator I’ve come across during my month-long property search! Following the introduction of the new renting rules in May, the conditions for renting became more complicated for us. I’ve spoken to quite a few letting agents, but they seem rather unsure themselves, so I received a lot of incorrect information. Matilda, however, was very professional right from our very first conversation and provided a clear plan. Throughout the rest of the letting process, she always answered all my questions promptly, which put my mind at ease. Thank you Matilda!

31st May 2026 (21 days ago)We moved into a property in 2019 advertised by Sharpes Estates with a garden full of rubbish, tyres, overgrown weeds and even mice. Their agent Kyla assured us the landlord would arrange for it to be cleared, but after more than six months of excuses and no action, we had to clean it ourselves and deduct the cost from the rent. They also failed to update our tenancy agreement on time and, when they finally did, they calculated the rent incorrectly. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and discussing it professionally, Mr Andrew threatened us with eviction proceedings if we did not accept the proposed increase on the contract we already signed 30 days ago. We are now dealing with water ingress in our bathroom from the flat above, and Sharpes Estates have stated that they do not manage the property and that we should contact the landlord directly. Throughout our tenancy, there has been a consistent lack of accountability, communication and follow-through. We have retained all email correspondence documenting these issues. Given our experience, we are genuinely concerned about what will happen when we eventually leave the property. Would not recommend Sharpes Estates to tenants. -- I have updated my review and included a copy of our complaint from seven years ago, proving these issues were raised at the time. Sharpes may not have managed the property, but it acted as the letting agent, renewed our tenancy, and represented the landlord. It therefore had a duty to communicate and escalate our concerns. The fact that Sharpes has no record of our complaint does not change the facts. We do. Unfortunately, our recent communication with Mr Andrew only confirms our concerns about Sharpes' professionalism and accountability.

Right from the initial valuation through to completion, the entire team was very professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. Zoe, who led on the sale of our property, went above and beyond to market the property effectively and kept us updated after every single viewing. Selling a house can be stressful, but Zoe's excellent communication and proactive approach with the solicitors made the whole process as seamless as possible. A fantastic service from a great team.

It's been more than 6 years. They helped find a tenant (a small family), who are still there. They proactively sorted out issues whether they were related to local council, maintenance or services. For someone like me so far away, this is more than assuring. Particular mention to Aziz Khan for his outreach and accessibility and to Billy for his hands on operations. Thank you so much. I'd recommend Farrell Lewis to anyone looking for top class real estate management.

I'd like to give all the members of the team at Winkworth Surbiton a shout out with Ryan in particular who had assisted us during the whole process. He is a true professional who excels at what he does and is a credit to the company! Every step of the way he was reassuring from showing us around the property, answering questions, displaying knowledge of the area and providing us with updates on the property.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He made himself available for viewings at convenient times and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. What really stood out was how efficient he was in providing all the necessary documentation, keeping everything smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he’s genuinely friendly and approachable, which made the whole process feel much more comfortable. Mykie was also very transparent throughout, which I really appreciated—it gave me full confidence at every stage.
