4th May 2026 (2 days ago)One word. Outstanding. From start to finish, my experience with Ellisons has been nothing short of outstanding. From the first encounter on the valuation of our home, Aidan Purtill was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and ultimately realistic with price. He talked us through a strategy for our home, and within a week of off-market viewings we had multiple offers, with it going to best and final bids. It was Callum who we ended up dealing with throughout the process, and he went above and beyond to ensure that the transaction was as smooth as possible. Whenever we hit bumps during the conveyancing, he was quick to react and keep things moving. Additionally, his ability to negotiate during our own sale, but also in assistance with our onward purchase was invaluable. I also would like to send my thanks to Mahul and Stephen, who were also both a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. Always willing to help out whenever Callum was out of office, and their positive, professional attitude was always highly reassuring. Ultimately, Ellisons Wimbledon really does feel like you’re dealing with an A team, and I always felt in great hands. The way that they work together is second to none, and far better than my experience with other local agents. It goes without saying, but if you’re looking to Buy or Sell in the area - use Ellisons!

I would like to especially mention Rachel, the Senior Lease Negotiator, for her excellent work. Rachel proved to be a true professional and guided the rental process from the beginning to the signing of the contract. Her communication was clear, friendly and always timely. Thanks to Rachel, the process of renting an apartment was easy, fast and stress-free. She was always in touch, explaining all the nuances that we did not understand. I recommend Foxton and especially Rachel to everyone who appreciates a professional approach, honesty and a high level of service.

The level of professionalism fell well below expectations, and I was left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a client.I will not recommend their services and would recommend strongly advise others to look elsewhere for more reliable and responsive agency. Ps : don’t bother replying with a standard message, because already know your answer.

They were accessible, reasonable and help me to solve all the issues you can encounter when you buy a house. Very satisfied with the final result, as I ended up buying my desired house in Barnes, and specially with the way I was treated.

Our main contact was Laura who was absolutely amazing! it would be fair to say the sale process did have many ups and downs but she navigated the stormy seas and held the transaction together. A lot of people give Estate Agents a bad Rep but Laura well she is simply the best!
28th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)I recently used Suzanne, Jordan, and Nicky at HJC Surbiton for the sale of my flat in Surbiton, they were excellent throughout the whole process, easy to deal with, very good comms between all parties, regularly updating me and always someone on hand to help. All went very smoothly and I would use them again in the future.

Richard was immensely helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with. He and Matthew consistently provided professional yet friendly advice, keeping everything moving smoothly throughout the process. Richard’s calm and intelligent approach made what could have been a stressful journey feel remarkably straightforward. He is a great facilitator, always composed, constructive, and ready to help. Both he and Matthew clearly know the local area well and were able to recommend reliable local trades when we needed them. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with the agency and would highly recommend them.

Even with our frustrating lengthy sale process on our own property, Lewis and the team were understanding and did very well to strike the balance of urgency without being pushy unnecessarily. Although we were not their paying client, we were treated extremely well throughout. Highly recommend if buying in the Cobham area.

They supported us through both our sale and purchase during challenging market conditions, and their calm, reassuring approach made a real difference during stressful moments. They were always quick to provide updates and chase others in the chain when needed. We were also really impressed with the quality of their listing, the photos and description looked far better than those of other estate agents. We would highly recommend Ben, Ryan, Tayte and the wider Winkworth Surbiton team
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
