25th May 2023 (2 years ago)Arrogance at the highest level! Was informed 24 hrs prior that my valuation had to be moved as a staff meeting was more important. Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

A special mention to Shari who has been wonderful to work with; being extremely personable, responsive, and a giver of good advice whilst selling our family home. Also, the marketing was very impressive; really don’t think it could be bettered. Jackson Stops really care; and it shows. Thank-you Team Jackson Stops!

16th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)This is not the first time we have used Blenkin&co. We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.
23rd Nov 2024 (11 mo. ago)Verity Frearson are the largest estate agent in Harrogate, and in my opinion are handling too many properties simultaneously. As a result they aren't able to give each property the desired attention and exposure. They are also so busy they are very rarely available to take your call and often don't get back to you.
25th Oct 2025 (23 days ago)Finding a rental property in York is never easy but Stephensons helped me in every way possible. They give the personal touch so you can find the right home for you. Oliver and the team went the extra mile and even showed me a property on a Sunday as I work full time a weekends just so I didn’t miss out! I spent 5 very happy years in a home in York thanks to Stephensons would recommend them to anyone first time every time ??????

29th Sep 2025 (7 weeks ago)I have recently sold through Nicholls Tyreman and the team have been brilliant from start to finish, particularly Ben Buckley who valued my house and was my main point of contact throughout the sale. The chain was long and there were some complications but Ben continually kept me updated and worked hard on my behalf.

Each member of the team went over and above to ensure my purchase was seamless, and kept me informed at every stage. They were professional, courteous and made my first house purchase memorable for all the right reasons. Can't thank them enough!

7th Mar 2025 (8 mo. ago)After moving to Canada we left the sale of our property in the safe hands of Andrew and without a doubt the right choice As it was a listed building it was never going to be a normal sales process but Andrew was 100% on the case and got us there in the end. Communication, feedback, advise and professionalism were second to none and I couldn’t recommend Andrew highly enough to do him justice

15th Sep 2025 (9 weeks ago)We found our dream home in Shadwell through Furnell's but after viewing it, it took us another 2.5 months before we received an acceptable offer on our house. At one point, we thought we'd lose the house in Shadwell, and Victoria and Lauren were so kind and sympathetic. They clearly understood how important the house was to us. When we eventually received an offer on our own house, they both went above and beyond to help us secure the house in Shadwell. They were both very friendly and kind yet professional throughout the whole process, staying in touch regularly. As buyers, we have no hesitation in recommending Furnell's. And they have an excellent and adorable assistant in Parker, their beautiful dog!

22nd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)I have dealt with thomlinsons for nearly 13 years and have always found the staff to be friendly if I had any issues they were dealt with as soon as they could I have mostly dealt with Jane Bruce at wetherby what a lovely lady Jane is my emails and calls were always replied to as soon as possible I have not ever not had a response Jane is knowledgeable on all aspects of housing matters and is a kind caring lady I would not hesitate to use thomlinsons again

11th Oct 2025 (5 weeks ago)The initial sales pitch was very polished with lots of promises on how I would be in control as the property owner. My main contact thereafter was Jennifer, she was responsive and dealt with issues promptly and professionally (as reflected in my rating). Jen left the business, others in her team followed service quality declined noticeably. I didn't contact F&P often, when I did response times and quality were both poor, I was advised standards would drop further as the team were stretched. I experienced pressure twice, once to accept an offer and subsequently to allow a third viewing (without offer). I held my ground on both which was not received well by the partners. In my experience F&P is not set up to provide a high quality service. I would recommend some research into the company before signing up, so expectations can be managed and to avoid time and effort being wasted.
