29th Aug 2024 (19 days ago)THE WORST LETTING AGENCY EVER!! Even 1 star is too much!! I rented a 1-bed flat for a whole year in Leicester and everything was extremely bad. The false advertising, they lied at the viewing saying that everything in the flat is working washing machine etc. but it broke in the first day after starting renting. I received the flat in the worst condition ever, really dirty with spiders infestation inside the apartment which continued to be the whole year… From the start, communication was poor, with emails and calls often going unanswered. Maintenance issues were either ignored or took far too long to be resolved, for the washing machine it took 4 MONTHS for someone to come and repaired it, meanwhile I had to live with a water leak in the flat, black mold appeared and couldn’t wash my clothes. For the spider infestation they did nothing and only said “to use a bug spray”, there was a major problem as well with the toilet which was leaking and it took weeks to have it repaired. I had to pay a lot of money for the water bills just because they weren’t competent enough to repair everything before having it rented…at the end of the tenancy they even blamed me I didn’t hoover and they have the audacity to not give me the deposit back in the beginning and forgot how I received the flat on the first day!! OVERALL, never rent from them as you will waste all your money and in exchange you will receive a nightmare of 6-12 months of living in a moldy, problematic apartment!!

7th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I was impressed by their knowledge of property prices in the area, leading to a realistic valuation and quick sale. The property was marketed overnight. We had a number of buyers in the first week, several of which made offers. They kept me in touch at all times and were very friendly and helpful on the phone. The sale went through very smoothly.
23rd Aug 2024 (25 days ago)Having just moved into a rented property, the Jordan Fishwick team have been incredibly helpful and quick in answering my questions. Tom was extremely helpful in resolving problems I had with the online tenancy portal and finding a workaround.
1st Jun 2022 (2 years ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

14th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)We were about 5 minutes late for a viewing because of the traffic when I managed to reach them on phone. I apologised and said we'd be there soon. They said the agent only waits 10 minutes, so they have to speak to him. After another 5 minutes they called me back and said the agent already left for another viewing. My wife was literally next to the house but as no-one was there,it was dark already and she didn't know which house it is without any lights. I told them it took us around 1.5 hours to get there with our 1yo baby and I don't think this is fair. We'd been still in the property even if we were on time. The agent finally came back and showed the house. He said he already changed his shoes as he was wearing a flip-flop because he went went home.

5th Jul 2024 (11 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
