3rd Apr 2024 (22 days ago)If I could leave a 0 I would. Management is non existent which then shows in the lack of professionalism from the rest of the staff. Awful wouldn’t recommend buying, selling or renting with them.

1st Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Arranged to view and flat with this estate agent. Called just before setting off on the hour journey to confirm it was still going ahead, they confirmed it was. Get to the property and no one turns up. Call them and they say it has been sold and emails were sent. A huge waste of time and money having booked time off work. Surely worth a phone call to tell me it had been cancelled after they had confirmed just an hour before that it would go ahead?
24th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)I called on Friday to enquire about a viewing and the woman I spoke to couldn’t have been more rude. It was obvious that on that day the last thing she wanted to do was work. All she did was give me snappy responses and when she finally did mention I could go and see the house at 11:30am on Saturday, she then snapped again saying ‘well you need to complete the form I’ll send you really quick otherwise someone else will take your spot’ and then she proceeded to say that it will be a block viewing so I asked if it’s possible to perhaps arrange a private viewing as I wasn’t particularly keen on a block viewing and she hang up on me straight away?? If this is how your agents behave and speak to customers then I really wonder how you manage to sell or let anything. Wouldn’t recommend and I’d avoid any future property listings if I will see your name on it.
8th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)The flats I visited before moving in looked perfect, with brand new carpet and freshly painted walls. However, my experience after moving in was far from ideal. The boiler stopped working, and I had to endure almost a week without hot water or heating for me and my toddler. It was challenging to bear the cold weather without heating, and we had to rely on electric heaters to keep ourselves warm. In addition to the boiler issue, the kitchen boards were falling, which posed a safety hazard to my son. I reported this issue to the agent, and it took them over a week to fix it. The delay in fixing this issue was frustrating. At one point, the agent accused me of staying in the bathroom too long, causing the water to get cold. This confused me because it was just me and my son, and we only used the bathroom briefly. Despite explaining my situation to the agent, they did not take me seriously, and it felt like they thought I was making up the issue. After experiencing intermittent heating and hot water, a new boiler was installed, which seemed relief. However, a new issue with the pipes responsible for producing hot water arose, resulting in me heating the house but still taking cold showers in winter. Despite raising these concerns periodically, no one seemed to take them seriously, leading them to believe I was either fabricating problems or being dishonest. Furthermore, I reported a leak in the sink and an unstable toilet seat to the agent, but they did not believe my claims. After a week, they did send a plumber to fix the sink and toilet seat, but no one called me to inform me that they were coming. This was frustrating as I had to stay home and wait for them to finish. Overall, my experience with the flats was disappointing. It felt like the agent did not care about the tenants. Once I moved in, it seemed like they did not take my concerns seriously, and it was disheartening. I hope that in the future, the agents will prioritise the safety and well-being of their tenants.

This woman is a blessing to the company and deserves a pay rise with the way she was so compassionate and helped my dream and relieved me of so much stress to get a flat???? Thank you so so much Chelsea ??
30th Mar 2024 (26 days ago)I recently had the pleasure of working with C&R Real Estate Agency in Hulme, and I'm happy with the service I received. The team at C&R were professional and responsive. They are local area experts and have good knowledge and experiences that are rare compared to other agencies. Gurmet, the manager of the Hulme branch, is particularly experienced and knows better of the market, location, and process of sale and purchase, than anyone else even compared to solicitors! I highly recommend C&R to anyone in search of a property in Hulme area.

21st Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)The team were very pleasant to work with but some points for improvement include: 1. The initial valuation was quite far off what the property ended up selling for. This was because it was based on sold prices in the local area of quite different houses. 2. The opening photo for our property on Rightmove had 9 bins in it - it would’ve been a good idea to move them/ask for them to be moved before the photos were taken. 3. An agent was sent to do a viewing on her last day in the job and told the viewer this and didn’t seem motivated to sell the property.

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
25th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)Awful, unprofessional and incompetent. Jennie did not arrive for my viewing despite me having received a confirmation email. I didn't even receive the common courtesy of a phone call to tell me she couldn't make it. After ringing the office to let them know I received a phone call from her to apologise and let me know that she would send me a video tour of the apartment. When I asked when I could expect to receive this video I was told she wasn't sure and she would have to check her diary. This after completely wasting my time and efforts. Quite disgusting to be honest. No sense of urgency or respect. Needless to say I am yet to receive the video. I guess her diary was rather full. Either that or they are a pathetic, tin pan operation that are not fit to sell you a cardboard box, much less a house. They actually obstruct the sale of properties not encourage them. Avoid them wherever possible. I'm sure they will reply to this review and question my legitimacy and claims like they have done with other negative reviews (another great way to treat customers)

Alex was our agent and from valuation right through to completion he was nothing but professional and efficient. Communication is vital in the world of selling and buying and Alex was always on hand to guide us through and overcome any obstacles. I cannot rate them enough and would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you so much ????
