14th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

19th Sep 2024 (23 days ago)Really poor experience of being a buyer through Remax, the house purchased was not as described or accurate according to Home Report. On entry to our home, no message to wish us all the best, no hot water, all the heating needing changed and based on the description was disgraceful. We asked questions at the viewing and told all was working and there hadn't been a leak which there had and now having to pay £10k on heating which was reflected as a '1' on the home report. TBH I don't think they asked the sellers any real questions and just marketed, took the money and moved on.

The sale of our house was a big step for me and my family as it was our first family home with so many special memories and Chris was the absolute perfect person to help us on that journey. From the initial discussion through the day of the sale and beyond, he was more supportive than we could have ever asked for. Even when we had the stress of having to put our house back on the market due to our initial buyers falling through, he helped guide us on best next steps. His knowledge of the industry is unparalleled and it being a family business just gives everything an even more special feeling. Thank you Chris, Laura, Christeen and Angela. You were all the absolute dream team. We can’t ever thank you all enough. If you are selling your house please trust me when I say they are the absolute best in the business.
12th Sep 2024 (30 days ago)Our landlord handed us over to jewel in I think 2020 ISH or there abouts...we stopped getting repairs done ,got given excuses and now that we are waiting for a first tier tribunal hearing ( which won't happen for many reasons,one being the absolute state of the house ! ) nothing gets done at all...we asked for the place to be made safe ,for reasons I am not willing to go into on a public forum but nothing can get done because jewel needs to get the say so from the landlord...we are waiting for certain tests to be done by the council now this place is an absolute hazard to life...I'm registered disabled ,I have two adults kids on the property with serious health issues but still the measures I asked to make the place safe which basically would cost virtually nothing from b&q ,till we move to our council homes still don't get done...I have asked on several occasions to speak to the manager as has my husband but to no avail .....no not a happy bunni

23rd Sep 2024 (19 days ago)Charlie and his colleagues have been fantastic throughout the whole sale process. I initially advertised with a cheaper agent, however it became clear that after they took my money, they were not interested. Charlie knew I had had a bad experience and was always on hand to answer questions, discuss feedback from viewers and give advice. Harbor also helped me secure my new home which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Harbor to anyone, they have given me fantastic service.

From chasing entry dates along the chain to simply keeping me up-to-date on what was going on, they were always available and willing to help. I would have no hesitation in using their services again and have already recommended them to someone who I know will be looking to move house shortly.
22nd Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)After a little tricky start, Lorna & her team, but Lorna in particular totally changed my mind on selling my house with Countrywide Scotland. Professional experience and Customer Service Second to none since. Always there whenever I needed help or didn't understand something. I couldn't have asked for much more! Lorna is such a lovely and approachable person, she is an absolute asset to the branch and deserves the recognition. Thanks again, guys!

9th Jun 2019 (5 years ago)Do not trust this company. We dealt with the previous iteration of the owners company and are now being left to clean up their mess. We should have gotten rid of them sooner.... leaving this review in the hope that other landlords won’t have to deal with the loss of over £2000 in rental payments plus the stress of figuring out what to do with our tenant now... even with the loss of rent I still may have left a good review if Amanda and Craig has worked with us to help figure things out (or even provide the tenants details) but the only response to any communication that we have is to essentially gloat that their old company doesn’t exist and there is no recourse for us. Pretty poor behaviour for a human being never mind a business owner.

5th Jul 2024 (14 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

I would highly recommend Sarah-Jane to anyone thinking of selling a property. Nothing was too much trouble, just a lovely bubbly person!
