7th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)A big thank you and my appreciation to Vikki and Jewel Homes for their much needed and timely intervention in dealing with storm damage in our block of flats. With their proactive backup and professional input and oversight, they have brought a consolidated plan together for the direct benefit of the property owners and tenants. What would ordinarily have been a challenging and frantic time for all the involved parties, has been made stress free, and provided all of as with a clear and confident way forward towards a resolution. Thank you Vikki for your much welcomed intervention.

Charlie who dealt with us from the start was great and kept us up to date with any information that needed to be passed on. Obviously they are a bit more expensive than other agents, however you get what you pay for. Thanks again
6th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Absolutely first class service. We had a few blips along the way with an offer falling through and so we moved to Countrywide. From beginning to end the service from them was super efficient. They had a vision for how to sell the property and get an offer that worked for us. They absolutely delivered and we got a huge volume of support from Nicole and the team. They weren't the cheapest of the estate agents we spoke to but I honestly believe that the other agencies would not have got quite the return that we managed. So it paid for itself.
15th Apr 2024 (3 days ago)When the valuer first came to see our property we were very impressed and excited by his demeanor, he was very enthusiastic and he promised us he could get us top market prices and that he would have “no problem” in selling our home. We quickly found out that Igloo don’t phone you to inform you that you have a viewing as we had people turning up to view our home when we were unaware and not ready to have a viewing. Also days would go by after we did have a viewing without Igloo letting us know how it went or even that they were having trouble contacting the viewers. It took 6 months for us to sell our home, with us phoning Igloo several times to discuss lowering the price or changing something in our property. Not once did anyone from Igloo phone to discuss how we could sell the house quicker. In the end we lowered our asking price by £15000 and sold it that morning. Had there been a more accurate price put on the property, or Igloo had called to explain that the market was fluctuating then the property would have sold quicker and we would have been able to look at new properties rather than still making mortgage payments on the property we were in

11th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)If you need a credible, reliable and accountable estate agency service then look no further than Savills Glasgow. Peter and his team know what they are doing and provide the standard of service you would expect from a company at this level, easily. I cannot recommend Savills highly enough and will certainly use them again in any property sale or purchase.

18th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)Colin Young and the team at RE/MAX Clydesdale have been amazing. In what was a very unpleasant house move, they couldn't have done more for me. From chasing entry dates along the chain to simply keeping me up-to-date on what was going on, they were always available and willing to help. I would have no hesitation in using their services again and have already recommended them to someone who I know will be looking to move house shortly.

Maria and Victoria couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient. Response time was minimal and communication was excellent throughout. They really went out of their way to be helpful and the service they provided was outstanding.

18th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)At the start of my tenancy things were great but don’t be fooled they are rude when you need help for an emergency. They used completely unprofessional and inappropriate language on the phone when I was in need of help not once but several different occasions. In trying to receive my deposit back from them (agreed with the final visit that I was getting the full amount back) it was a hassle and a half. They forced me to call them several times over the course of weeks to give me my money back which by law they aren’t entitled to if there’s no damage to the property. I will try to avoid them in future if at all possible, they are ok as agents as long as you are paying their clients but even then they were shockingly bad most of the time.
5th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.

They managed our property sale in Swinton and consistently went over and above throughout the process. We had full professional photos, videos and drone capture, showing full property views which helped our property stand out and seemed to lead to more viewings. We hit a snag in the process when a sale fell through, however AB got our property back up for sale and it was resold the next day. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the local area.

I was kept up to date with feedback and my house was featured regularly on social media. Managed to secure a great offer above home report. Highly recommend!
4th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)“A completely inaccurate review.” First we’ve heard from you. I’ll address your points and untruths. “You had 3 estate agents out to your property, your partner confirmed our valuation of £200k was the highest, he was impressed with the comparable sales evidence I showed him and our knowledge of the market. Chris advised he was looking for £220k which I agreed was achievable in the market at that time.” Of the estate agents I saw, I was most impressed with your pitch and that is why I chose you. Slight inaccuracy on the price, though. I wasn’t wanting private data made public, but, since you’ve done that, I will respond in kind. You said £230k was achievable. We required £225,500 to make the move to our new home possible. That is what we agreed to work towards. “Your property went live on 22nd July and a written offer off £220k was accepted on 25th August (hardly an unreasonable time to achieve an offer of 10% over home report) also the fact you listed the house in July and couldn't move out until December made it a slightly more difficult sale.” We were told we could expect to be sold in a week and viewings dried up after that. We had to engineer interest ourselves - the house builder of the property we were purchasing even asked people to contact you. Funnily enough, our move-out date wasn’t a problem when pitching your services to us. “You cannot blame a single estate agent for a change in market conditions its completely unreasonable.” According to you, we should’ve sold before this happened, so it’s not unreasonable to be concerned by changing market conditions when we hadn’t sold. “Another estate agent chapped your door, if the service was so bad why did you not change agents at this time? You weren't tied into a contract nor have any exit fees? Neither you or your partner complained to us once throughout the process and paid your estate agent fee in full.” The estate agent concerned noticed we hadn’t sold and was surprised. He performed a free analysis of our marketing and told us how he would do it differently. Now we’re getting into you not being quite truthful. I’m sure your agent will confirm I complained frequently and we eventually set a deadline or we would have dismissed your service. We got the offer of sale right on our deadline. Had we not, you know full well we would have gone with the other agent. Our solicitor advised we were legally obliged to pay your fee. Trust me, if we weren’t, we wouldn’t. “I wonder why it has now taken you 4 months to become a keyboard warrior?” My wife is free to leave honest feedback whenever she wants. Happy to discuss this face to face. “I have worked extremely hard over 15 years to build up a successful business and inaccurate reviews of this nature can be harmful.” Not inaccurate, as I’ve hopefully demonstrated. You need to develop a thicker skin if you can’t handle that someone found your service unsatisfactory. “The Beatson cancer charity we raised and donated £24,000.” My wife was referring to the portion of our sale. “The seller dropping the offer by £20k 4 days before missives concluding is unfortunate, however you weren't the only person in this position. You didn't need to accept the reduced offer so again to blame the estate agent for that is unbelievable.” We did need to accept the offer or we’d have lost the property we were moving into. You’re not directly to blame for this, correct, but we didn’t hear a peep from you during this period. “Next we will be getting the blame for the war in Ukraine, Covid and the cost of living crisis.” Utterly unprofessional comment that makes you look childish and unable to respond constructively to criticism. “I noticed you left out the bit where you reduced your offer by the same amount for the property you were buying so you were no worse off financially.” Again, this isn’t true. Our builder did reduce the price to mitigate the situation but not by the comparable amount. We were left worse off financially - fact. Happy to show you all the documentation.
