20th Feb 2026 (25 days ago)Rob, Vincent, Bryan, Guy & Amanda (apologies if I’ve inadvertently missed anyone) have been absolutely exceptional throughout the sale of our property — thank you, truly. Each of you demonstrated the highest level of professionalism at every stage, from the initial valuation and conducting viewings to maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the process. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you all, and we are incredibly grateful for your support and expertise.
18th Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)They were very helpful without being too pushy, they did find a couple of people that put offers in but unfortunately they both pulled out for different reasons, maybe they could have been a little more proactive.
10th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)Sold us a grade 2 listed cottage for £1m but turned out it didn't even have planning permission in parts, never mind listed buildings consent. Vendors failed to provide any paperwork (e.g. listed buildings consent) which should have been sorted by estate agents before marketing (had to find a 7 year old underpinning building regulations certificate myself), then failed to exchange in time (despite 2 weeks notice), nearly collapsing a whole property chain after many months of my time, energy & money. Exchange finally happened with four days until completion deadline, leading to massive & unnecessary stress. Keith Ashton's communication with vendors and myself poor throughout, and got worse (including terrible advice to lie to my buyer) as deadline approached. Sales Support Consultant made a ridiculous accusation of bullying when asked to contact vendors, and even after escalation, Associate Director didn't help either until much too late. No one seemed to care if transaction failed or succeeded with nearly disastrous consequences, and still had no explanation nor apology from anyone. Didn't even bother to respond when asked when sold sign would be removed after all of the above. Avoid at all costs!

17th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)Very disappointed, first they overvalued the property and told me in a matter of a fortnight I needed to reduce the price which I did, I then heard nothing for almost 2 months . Went to a different agent who sold the property within a week. When I looked at their marketing it was so much better and more professional than Bowyers. I do not like leaving negative reviews, however this reflects my experience with them.

Pauls communication with myself and everyone involved and his updates on everything no matter how small were excellent. I would thoroughly recommend GBP estates.

However once we went with them we had an offer within 3 days from the first viewers Felt great about it and then communications seemed to stop and was left in the dark and we had to chase for further info and timeliness etc
