More or less 0 communication from them.Do not let your property with them, as soon as they sign you up, they don't care about you (landlord) they only care in collecting they'r cut . They are not interested in doing property chec ups, etc.... really really terrible evil people at that branch.- 19th May 2026 (27 days ago)Just wanted to mention Julie and Kirsty at the Hornchurch branch have been amazing throughout the whole journey buying our 1st home. Answering questions and chasing up when needed. Cant fault these 2 amazing ladies. Highly recommend. If you're looking to buy in the area, they will guide you through the whole process.

12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Service was amazing, highly recommend these estate agents. Mike Driver, the branch manager, was great from start to finish. We appreciated his honesty, transparency, and his willingness to go above and beyond. He helped us chase the vendor's solicitors and was responsive over the phone. The staff were also very helpful and lovely, taking great notes and collaborating with each other well. I highly recommend, and will look to contact them again if we are in the market again. P.s. this was a review I gave in July 2021, but didnt get published!!

She’s been super encouraging along the journey of buying our first home, leading us to feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She has been super informative and lovely to speak to. All round a really good branch to go with for looking for your home, that go above and beyond in supporting you across the whole process.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Nav made the process a lot easier and smooth sailing he was very helpful and exceptionally quick at responding to calls and emails which I was very pleased with. He was very kind and explained the process very well and any questions or concerns I had, Nav was very confident and helpful with his responses.

Between navigating the conveyancing process, deciphering survey reports, managing a chain that feels like it could collapse at any moment, chasing solicitors, and trying to understand what on earth "exchange" and "completion" actually mean in practice - it can feel completely overwhelming, especially if it's your first time. From our very first conversation, Amanda was refreshingly straightforward. She didn't talk in circles or hide behind jargon - she explained every stage of the transaction clearly, told me what to expect and when, and was honest when things were moving slowly and why. That transparency alone was worth its weight in gold. So many agents leave you chasing them for updates; Amanda was proactive, often calling me before I even had the chance to wonder what was happening. When a complication arose mid-transaction (as they almost always do in UK property purchases), Amanda handled it. She liaised with the relevant parties, kept all sides informed, and kept the deal on track without panic or drama. Her knowledge of the process was evident - she clearly understood not just her role but the wider legal and procedural landscape, which meant she could anticipate problems before they escalated. A referral was made to Akash @ The Property Club which has helped us to grow our business and navigate through many of the new legal changes in the Landlord field. Whether dealing with routine property matters, maintenance issues or more complex situations he handles everything with great care and it is clear takes pride in his work. He takes time to understand what the needs of the client are and we highly recommend his service.
