He keeps me updated with new properties that are coming onto the market, something that other agents haven’t done for me. I would 100% recommend Douglas Allen and Joe if anyone is looking to buy or sell their property in the Hornchurch area.

Their guidance has always been excellent and very much appreciated. We would highly recommend Farr O’Neil as they are totally honest, trustworthy and just lovely people to deal with.

The staffs were helpful, professional and enthusiastic. I really appreciate the services and support from the team. Thanks Jessica, Freddie and Jason for their continuous help on setting-up, viewing and communication jobs. Special thanks for Clairessa for her following-up supports after the agreement. We have found them to be very professional but at the same time friendly and will explain any jargon that we come across that we do not understand. They have provided us with QQ reports, surveyors reports for purchasing and selling properties and have advised us several times. I would recommend this company

20th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)I Was super unhappy with the service I received from Lux,I sold through them and really thought they where different, but in fact they worked more for the buyer rather than the seller which was really disappointing, I never really felt they told us the true situation in relation to the buyer.

Mandy provided guidance when needed and chased solicitors on my behalf, Faye’s persistence helped my exchange and completion go through all in the same day. Chalk Street have proved that you don’t need to spend extra hundreds of pounds to sell your property.
17th Jan 2024 (14 weeks ago)In times like this when renting a property is literally a nightmare, when agencies don't even bother to reply or answer the phone because they've got too many clients anyway, contacting Jemma from the agency was like seeing a light on the end of the tunnel or better to say an angel who finally woke you up from nightmares and gave a hope. So busy and under huge pressure, she always find time to answer your emails or call you back, she is an absolute jewel! Like my friend said and I absolutely agree, we just won a lottery with them! Edit: We lived(rented) in the house where many flats are managed by the agency and than you can get the clue why some people here are giving 1 star. I read those reviews and witnessed on my own eyes people from next door not paying bills, electricity cuts, bringing and leaving rubbish around the house and complaining that this government is not doing enough for them and they just want to live on benefits and agency suppose to give them accommodation for free??? It really makes me angry reading and seeing things like that, because if you are on benefits doesn't matter the reason why, you must understand that not even one agency will consider you in front of working people, simple as that, because you don't understand that you are risk for the people who work there, they are working for salary and they want to be payed for work they are doing, for service they are providing and you are expecting them to risk their work and life because of people who eventually might not pay the rent anymore??? Are you willing to work for someone who eventually will not pay you ? I know the answer on this one, because I'm not! I left the flat how I found it when my contract expired. We maintained it as it is our own property because we are living in it and we respect someone who owns it (same as you would expect if you give your car to someone, to fill it up, keep it clean and intact, no difference), and we got our whole deposit back on the same day our contract ended. So, don't believe some reviews here, it is not even worth it to read, because like I said, I witnessed the story behind that and how they left the property after they've got finally evicted (it was a relief for all of us in the building). Agency couldn't even place the property back to market, it was a nightmare. So they lost all that money for the rent, deposit is not going to be enough to bring it back for living condition and tell me, how people who work in the agency suppose to live? On benefits too? Sorry for my long rewiev, but someone independent needs to say the truth behind those 1 star reviews and according to this, I would just suggest the agency, "don't even bother with cases like this, because not even one agency does", but I know that you have more human approach like I said and that's why you are trying to help people even if they think that paying 6 month in front is a rip off, they don't really understand in what risk you are really placing yourself. BTW, we left the agency because our friends who left the country, gave us their property to live in, otherwise we wouldn't move from there, no chance. The best agency we experienced, honestly! Recommend!!!
16th Nov 2023 (23 weeks ago)I would not give it 1 star, but this review doesn't let me lower it. The worst experience ever! the managing Director Mis-sold and breached his own contract and gave me a property in disrepair wouldn't return my money over £7K+ that I had to pay for a holiday let property. He retrospectively changed the details in the advert after I challenged him and to return my money which he kept on stone walling me. There lots more he has done that I can't put on here. I hope people don't have to go through what he put me through! Addition: 16/11/2023: I was overseas how could I have seen the property, I only saw the property physically the day you told me to sign and secure it and said cleaning was in progress SO STOP lying. Please respond to my legal emails if that is what you claim. BUT haven't responded because you now you are a lier. Also how could I stay in a disrepair property and you have also changed the locks when I left the property due to all the issues. I am waiting for my solicitors to draft the final letter to you. See you in court.

They are an amazing team, very professional and efficient in their services and deal with empathy intact! Sharon has been excellent my one point contact and surely she won’t be judgemental but will cross all extends to help ?? Sharon has restored my faith in estate agents, surely angels like Sharon and her supportive manager who approved her actions to support me??do exist still in this materialistic world??I would highly recommend them! Most importantly I feel one woman empowering another woman in time of needs~so surely my piece of advice….. estate agents should employ more and more female staff who can sense and feel for female clients traumas…. one going through. To emphasise I have never had staff like Sharon in last 15 years in my multiple dealings with several estate agents in this country. For me she is my god sent angel??

He was always at the end of the phone, responded to all emails/phone calls and kept us updated throughout the transaction. Billy is a straight up guy and that’s exactly what you want working on a challenging sale. We couldn’t have asked for a better agent to be on our case! Thanks so much for your consistent hard work through this!!! 5 stars and 10/10 for Billy!!!

After bad experiences in the past, we were nervous going into the process again. Katie put us at ease from the very first viewing to the day she handed over the keys to our new home. Sophie in particular has been excellent. Great communication and tenacious to the last! Jake and Mickey have been great, a real personal touch and attention to detail that you just don’t get with the big estate agents. I would recommend them every day of the week. Many thanks to a great team.
