6th Nov 2023 (11 mo. ago)At the start they were fantastic. Giving us advice on the value to market at was poor and we ended up Going with my recommendation. Negotiation with offers was terrible. Overall I was really disappointed and left wondering why I am paying them a fee. I felt like no one wanted to work for my sale - just take the first offer. However, we are also buying from Richard James and Alex from the wroughton office has been outstanding

The images were taken and my house was on the market the next day and was sold within two weeks.All the staff were brilliant.Thanks to everyone involved.

My property manager is Stella and from the moment I viewed my property she has been incredible. I have always been made to feel like i am part of the Samual Miles family, and I have always been aware and reassured that Stella is just one call away if i need her. I can not recommend herself and the team enough. I can assure you, you are truly looked after, and they genuinally really care. The whole process from viewing my property, to moving in was completely effortless, and i now have a house that I can truly call my home. Thankyou so much Stella, I can never thankyou enough for all you support. You truly are the best. H & R

From initial valuation and understanding of our property/local area to sales progression the team have always been there to answer any queries and help us along the way. Always open to client suggestions and changes in advertising really makes the team and agent feel like they’re working with you. We would recommend Atwell Martin Chippenham to anyone currently weighing up agents in the area.- 1st Oct 2024 (22 days ago)I can’t recommend Ben at Atwell Martin highly enough. I had multiple estate agents round to value my property and Ben’s authenticity and honesty was clear to see from the outset; not hidden agenda’s like some other estate agents! His price was extremely fair and his service was second to none. Ben was always available for a chat and was proactive with pushing the sale through and asked for updates to see what was outstanding which took a lot of stress away. I genuinely don’t believe the sale would have happened if it wasn’t for Ben. I can’t thank him enough and would recommend him to anyone that’s looking to sell a property. A genuine, down to earth and all round nice guy! Thanks again, Ben ????????

20th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)I'm sorry because I really dislike leaving negative reviews but hopefully the owner will be able to see this and adjust things to improve in future. This is specific for the Swindon branch. I recently went through the process of buying a house with Jessica James, and attempting to view the property with them was incredibly difficult. Attempted calls on various numbers found on their profiles, voicemails, direct emails, messages through RightMove, and we had something like a 20% response rate. It took longer than two weeks to get a viewing arranged because of the lack of responses. We ended purchasing this house with Jessica James, and the lack of responses was also noticed by the solicitors in the chain as it got to a point where my solicitors were asking me where our seller's estate agents were, as they were also getting no responses. It made the purchase time increase on the already lengthy process that it is, and so I unfortunately cannot recommend Jessica James as an estate agent to buy a home from as the response rate actively negatively impacted our purchase.
31st Jul 2024 (12 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
12th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)We had arranged to rent a property through them following a video viewing due to where we were at the time and having been assured it had a secure garden for our dog and that it had outside storage as no garage at the property.. both were essential. We paid a substantial holding deposit that has never been refunded even though following a niggling gut instinct that saw us driving 4 hrs to check the property before moving in date saw us discover that in fact the garden was open between the property and the next door property allowing our dog to get through into a public lane that led to a main road or a huge public recreation area, there was no external storage at all, the property had not been decorated in years and windowsills actually had huge chunks of paint missing, the back door had a huge hole in it and the kitchen units were in a dire state.... the current tenants also advised us that the carpets were going as were theirs.... The video never showed us any of this.... It's been a valuable lesson learned..
