6th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)We had a few viewings from them, there was an offer put in for the house mid December 2023. Client had over £200k of deposit. They pushed us to get solicitor etc buyer was ready to go. We did that at start of January 2024.We heard nothing, no even mention of Survey, until we pushed on 05/03/24,there was NO response. then the agent said they were arranging survey, under valued house by £100k, valued at standard 3 bed house. They got another survey arranged, this was then valued at £40k under. The Buyer should not have been allowed to view the property if they could NOT afford the property. I sent a message on 23/03/24 with drawing the property with them as they had wasted 4 months.. we had another offer from a different agent also in Dec but as we had accepted the offer from Scotts we went with them. Big mistake !!!

I wholeheartedly recommend Allen and Harris Highworth to anyone in search of a reliable and trustworthy partner for their real estate needs, and Jemma especially. Overall I was really disappointed and left wondering why I am paying them a fee. I felt like no one wanted to work for my sale - just take the first offer. However, we are also buying from Richard James and Alex from the wroughton office has been outstanding

Tied in to a one sided 20 week contract (in their favour) & very little interest from buyers or A & H. Total apathy, they are not the local company we all once knew & loved, in our case for over fifty (yes 50) years & used happily in the past to buy & sell property several times. They are part of a national company called SEQUENCE. Phone calls not acted upon or promised call backs not made, false statements ('we have people queuing up to buy houses like yours'). Make sure you negotiate the length of your contract & selling commission percentage if you are brave enough to use them. They are toying with people's dreams & don't seem to give a toss. Neither did their sister company in Weymouth where we are moving to but that's a story for another review.
