The KFH team were excellent at securing multiple viewings eventually securing a buyer for my flat. Thank you so much Paul and Candy and I cannot recommend your services enough.
2nd May 2026 (4 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with Gatekeepers when trying to sell my flat earlier this year. We initially approached them in early February and discussed a realistic asking price of around £230,000. However, they listed the property at £235,000. When I questioned this, I was told it was based on my mum’s suggestion — which is simply not true, and in any case, not appropriate justification. As the agent, they are supposed to provide expert guidance on pricing, not deflect responsibility. Over the course of approximately 10–11 weeks, they managed to secure just one viewing. Communication was extremely poor — I received no regular updates and had to constantly chase for basic information. When I raised concerns about the lack of progress and asked what they would do to improve the situation, there was no clear strategy, no proactive plan, and no effort to generate interest. Instead, I was told that market conditions were difficult and that “nothing is selling,” which felt more like an excuse than a solution. To make matters worse, when I asked to exit the agreement early due to the lack of results, this was refused. Despite acknowledging the challenges, they insisted I remain tied in until the full contract period ended on April 27th, meaning I continued to incur mortgage costs with no progress on the sale. Overall, the service was unprofessional, reactive rather than proactive, and lacked accountability. I would not recommend using Gatekeepers based on my experience.

22nd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Jordan has saved me from disaster! We bought our home from Chappells recently. I started the process of selling and buying in January 2025. To make everything stress-free, I paid a decent amount for mortgage service, solicitor and surveys but unfortunately, due to my buyer’s inefficient and poor solicitor, the whole process got delayed for months causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. I had to change estate agents twice due to their incompetence and lack of dedication. The whole process was delayed unnecessarily for months risking the chain to collapse. I went through worries and stress every single day with no hope of completion. My buyer’s mortgage offer expired in February 2026 and they reapplied causing further stress and uncertainty. Jordan has been the only person in this entire process who have supported me throughout, especially with the reassurance and motivation at every point which was needed to keep going. He chased the solicitors on multiple occasions when it is not even his job to do so. His communication is fab, he is easy to approach and very friendly. His dedication is remarkable and unmatched. I finally completed in April 2026 and even at the last point, Jordan did his best to make sure the chain does not collapse and everything is sorted as it was all very stressful. If it was not him, then I would have lost my new house. Jordan has been more like family to me, always willing to listen, talk and help. He has gone above and beyond to help me. He is brilliant at his job and one of the best humans I have ever met. Buying and selling is one of the most stressful things in life and during all the ups, downs, uncertainties, anxieties, insecurities and never-ending worries, all you need, is a genuine person who can be with you in your journey, reassure, motivate and be honest with you. Jordan has been this reliable friend to me, and I will always be grateful for all the help I have received from him. Even when I was in my worst situations, he made me laugh. I would recommend Chappells to anyone looking for clear and hassle-free service. This is my second time buying with Chappells and i wouldnot hesitate to choose or recommend them again in future. Thank you Jordan, it has been a pleasure, stay blessed!
18th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)I am extremely disappointed with Taylors. They seem to be waiting for things to happen rather than taking action, and we constantly have to chase them to do their job. If I had my buyer's solicitor's contact information, I could handle this myself. This has been a nightmare—the deal is nearly collapsing. I will never use this agency again.

From the moment we engaged with Atwell Martin, Calne to facilitate the sale of our property, both Ben and Stewart have been very much hands on and kept us informed every step of the way. Our home was listed on their website in just a few days of us signing up, and was sold after just two viewings in the first couple of weeks. I can most certainly recommend Atwell Martin, Calne for a very thorough and professional service, with very competitive fixed costs. Thank you.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

27th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

19th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)Please avoid dealing with this agency . we rented a flat with them, there was a leaking from the above the property , we reported the issue , they did not even took the time to come and have a look into it . Very terrible experience, please avoid dealing with them. for a few dust, they are charging us 155 , a big SCAM. This agency does not deserve any star . our daughter was sick twice in this property . dehumidifier was on 24 hrs On . until now, we did not receive our deposit. We raised a complaint but they come back to us with bla bla without a resolution. We are planning to take to ombudsman

He took brilliant photos of our house and got everything live very quickly, which helped our property stand out straight away. His communication was honestly the best we’ve experienced compared with other agents- he kept us updated throughout and we never had to chase or wonder what was happening. He clearly put a lot of time and effort into the process. Our house sold much faster than we expected, and we’re really pleased we chose him. We actually went with Richard based on his reviews, and I can say they are absolutely true. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell.
