16th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.

26th Sep 2024 (27 days ago)We decided to use Andrew J Nowell & Co after speaking to a number of agents in the area and prior to putting our property on the market. We found Nick to be professional, measured and clear about the process and his approach to selling our home. His appraisal of the house and how his company would sell it was unique and gave us confidence to proceed with him. He arranged for all of his team to visit our house so that they would have a true view of the property and be able to convey it's selling points to anyone enquiring. We dealt with Will, Carolyn and Neil all of whom were very helpful and proactive, communicating quickly when responding to viewing queries and following up regularly with the purchaser, as the process progressed. The marketing and photography was also very good and after receiving a number of viewings and offers, Nick personally advised us on how to proceed for the best result. I thank them for their help and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing for an easy sale process!

14th Feb 2024 (8 mo. ago)I have been trying to contact this estate agent to enquire about a property for over one and a quarter hours...no reply to my call...just an answer machine...I would be fuming if I was the vendor...very unsatisfactory... unbelievable in fact... I've been phoning on and off between 12.50 and 2.17...nothing....

11th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)I don’t like writing this but the way we have been treated by this estate agent is terrible. All was good we had our offer excepted, happy days. Then 2 weeks later, after solicitors have got involved, we find out the garden as shown in the brochure with decking and a shed on it, oh and patio doors opening onto it doesn’t belong to the property at all. Apparently they have squatters rights to the land, but want our solicitors to sort it out. If we had known this from the start we would never have made an offer on the property.

10th Jul 2024 (15 weeks ago)Personally not partial to Estate Agents, what do they do for their money, BUT James Du Pavey are different they work hard for the money. I only bought my home through them but they worked the chain hard and communicated every step. Just what people want not silence. Thank you so much to the whole team but Pippa you were amazing. James Du Pavey are wholeheartedly recommended; it's time all other estates agents woke up and become a true service.
