15th Jul 2024 (12 days ago)I live next door to a property rented out by this company, and I've had to chase them numerous times regarding a damaged fence caused by a tree on their side, which has affected my property. Initially, I contacted them to get the tree maintained and then to fix the fence on the 14th May. I was asked by the company to source a quote myself, which I did. However, after arranging for a professional to start the repairs, I was told the quote was too expensive. They then promised a like-for-like fence using someone cheaper that they sourced. I feel upset and frustrated as I've had to keep chasing this issue. The damaged fence is an eyesore, and not one person from the company has come out to look at it. I have had no updates and had to chase them again. It seems that unless they're making money, they're not interested in resolving issues. I hope this review prompts the company to understand the importance of maintaining properties and addressing concerns, not just focusing on profit. Their brand should reflect quality service at all levels.

Ross and Mia in particular were excellent - Ross was calling me more than I was him keeping my fully updated and assistance beyond what I would expect/felt was typical was offered when there were problems with the property not relating to the sale. A big thank you to all involved and very grateful indeed. Ultimately a sale was agreed at a fair price and everyone is happy. Very good indeed. 31st May 2024 (8 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Strutt & Parker in Exeter, especially Isabel Clifton who did an amazing job. Initially when we found the property we wanted to purchase our house wasn't even on the market. Isabel arranged everything for us regarding our house sale and we managed to sell it within 5 weeks of it going on the market. We were always kept informed of any changes / potential issues and she was always easily contactable. You will certainly get a more personal service here which is exactly what we wanted. Their conduct was exemplary in terms of communicating, empathy, reassuring and reality – an estate agency which genuinely understands the emotions and needs of people as well as the practical aspects of selling homes. They are second to none – ‘Knights to be trusted' - professional decent agents who can effectively secure a sale with the least amount of stress. I had two sales fall through and they worked very hard to secure a sale for me and also a purchase as this was compromised because of the aborted sales. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who needed a good estate agent. It was an exceptional service.

10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)Selling a home on behalf of an elderly relative comes with many stresses. Sou was superb, to say the least, going above and beyond repeatedly to help. She understood the complexity of the situation and went out of her way to make the process as easy and as stress free as I could have wished for. As I also didn't live locally to the property, Sou ensured the viewings, were fully taken care of. She provided updates, advice and support in the offer stages, and the house was sold in under a month. Even after the SSTC stage, Sou helped me arrange for access for surveys and trades, etc. Never failing to be the first to update me, ahead of the instructed solicitors. The whole Tamlyns team are professional, yet fully engaged in making the process as smooth as possible. I would not hesitate in recommending Sou and the Tamlyns team for a house sale/ purchase. Thank you for your help and kindness.

25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Phoned reference a property which to be fair was a bit cheeky as it was a fair bit under the asking price (£20k under on a £295,000 house) but the lady was very pleasant on the phone and stated I would receive a call back. The call from the person who I think may be the owner never happened and when I called back was made to feel a bit of a fool for even offering with a reply of I know the client and he is neither in need of, or inclined to accept such an offer. A simple I'm sorry they are not likely to accept would of been a better reply I think.
25th Oct 2023 (9 mo. ago)What can I say , having my house on the market for nearly 9 months with another estate agents I changed to the property centre , within 2 days we had a viewing and an offer ( even managed another viewing a couple of days later ) ! Pleasure to deal with the description and picture are a on a different level compared with the other company and can’t recommend the property centre enough ! Thank you Louise ????
