28th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)Had problems getting through to my team initially as messages went awry. I went up to Musselburgh and spoke directly to Cherese and everything went smoothly after that. Lina then came onboard and negotiated a fair price on the property I wanted. The score then went to good communication.
19th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)i have moved a lot and GSB are the best estate agent i have used everthing went so smoothly no stress no worries spot on
7th Oct 2024 (2 years ago)James from DMD was very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. At all times it seemed that the process was totally under control and any queries were replied to with unimpeachable promptitude.
10th Oct 2019 (7 years ago)I've recently made my will and power of attorney, I've now lost count of how many times I've had to go in to the (Haddington) office as they keep on getting names and addresses wrong. Told them numerous times but clearly not paying attention to detail.

6th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)DJ Alexander have been very friendly, accommodating, and quick to answer/strategise throughout my selling process. I particularly valued the advice they provided through the process.
24th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)One of the best services ever. We were walk in clients and within a short period Rob and Charlene helped us. We loved their service. They do Notary and Apostille services in Whitburn in addition to a whole range of services
11th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Robert Cran won my business by his honesty and attentive customer focus. Also the price quote was very favourable. Going forward with the house sale, Robert couldn't have been better, keeping me updated throughout the whole process, it was outstanding service and second to none. Thanks to the experience I received from Drummond Miller through Robert, I intend to use them again very soon when I sell my parents' house. Highly recommend without reservation
11th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)Not great - would not use again. Did nothing to find interested parties in first few weeks until I had to call a senior team member to complain... Not ideal - feel like they had too much work to handle mine at the time. Would have fathered they had just said they were too busy than wait too I was stressed and lost out on buyers.
27th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)Urquharts were very professional yet friendly and helped me every step of the way. I conducted the viewings myself with the help of a family friend but Urquharts made the appointments while consulting with us over our availability. Advice was succinct yet with the reasoning clearly explained.
29th Aug 2024 (2 years ago)All very professional and kept us informed
18th Aug 2023 (3 years ago)Thoroughly professional, friendly attentive and informative throughout - WELL DONE, AND MANY THANKS TO ALL THE TEAM ????????
15th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)I was initially nervous about selling my property for the first time, but choosing Neilson’s Estate Agents made all the difference. From my first meeting with Lewis Hunter and my early contact with Suzie Steenkamp, I felt completely at ease and confident moving forward. A special mention goes to Rhonda Gunn, my Property Sales Negotiator, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She communicated with me quickly and consistently—often daily—and always kept me fully updated. Thanks to the team’s hard work, I had a high number of viewings and even received an early offer. A huge thank you to the whole Neilson’s team for making the experience smooth, supportive, and successful.

15th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Overestimated price at quote stage and advised a lower one as soon as home report valuation was received, suggesting upset price 10k below valuation. Little feedback on website viewing figures unless I phoned to request it. Support for property viewings and feedback from viewers was reasonable. Once an offer was received, I had to email and phone Thornton's legal team repeatedly to chase progress. Title deeds were already held by Thornton's, but it took two weeks to scan and email them to the solicitor, delaying written acceptance of the offer beyond the deadline given by the buyer. Solicitor handling my case seemed to think this was normal and deadlines for acceptance of offers were usually ignored. Sale is not yet complete, but I would avoid using the same company for estate agency and legal services in future. It seems to encourage complacency and inefficiency, the opposite of what I expected.
