21st Feb 2026 (23 weeks ago)I strongly advise landlords to be extremely cautious when dealing with Fair Links Estate Agents. My experience has been deeply disappointing and has resulted in significant financial loss. The company Directors, Ali Muhammad and Arif Muhammad, were friends with the tenant and looked at his interest rather than the Landlords. Throughout the tenancy, my concerns and formal complaints were repeatedly ignored. Communication was poor, emails and letters went unanswered, and I felt that issues were consistently avoided rather than resolved. The tenant Mir Ikhlaq was placed in my property, which fell into substantial arrears—over £30,000—yet despite the agent being fully aware of the outstanding amount, the deposit was released without my consent. This goes against the expectations of transparency and proper procedure under the government?approved deposit protection schemes. When the tenants were finally evicted, the property was left in an unacceptable condition, including hygiene issues and evidence of pests. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fair Links Estate Agents to any landlord. I would urge others to proceed with caution and ensure they have robust safeguards in place before entrusting their property to this agency.Bismilla Property Ltd

30th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)ReMax Caning town property sale team has totally disappointed us in every step of 6 weeks period of sale of our house and wasted our time. They made a good first meeting impression, compare to other 6 estate agents, which swayed us to go with them but from there it was total disaster. The listed cost of property was not discussed and advised properly, they agreed with our “wishful” house price to get us sign up with them, rather than advise against current market situation. The listing of our property has been unprofessional, copied twice with different prices and unmanaged even after countless requests. The availability of the sale team was getting worse every week up to the moment where weren’t able to reach anyone in four working days. We had very little or no feedback from them on any viewings of our property. Compare to our second chosen estate agents who were complete opposite on every step of successful house sale ReMax was terrible choice and I would recommend everyone with hope of smooth and quick property sale to AVOID ReMax estate agents altogether!!
2nd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have been very happy with Lion Wolf. I tried one of the more traditional estate agents to sell my shared ownership flat but was not impressed with their efforts. Lion Wolf were far more proactive in trying to find a buyer and much more forthcoming with feedback. The terrible shared ownership system meant I couldn’t sell, but once I was in a position to rent it out, I knew they were the best people to engage. They found a tenant quickly and are also quick to communicate any issues with the flat and sort them out promptly, which means I have little to worry about. I would recommend them.
20th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)Recommend SO sales by Pocket Living as they are supposed to specialise in resale of this type of property. 1. There is no strategy to the sale of these properties which can be tough in any market. Little help with pricing / reduction. It will all be self driven. 2. Lack of communication from the estate agent who operated like this role was a side hustle. Very hard to get a hold of him and mostly communicated via emails. 3. Lack of push to move things both buyer/seller side. Made the prices slow and messy. 4. General lack of ownership and help. Made the process even more stressful. 5. His focus is doing the bare min and shifting responsibility Would not recommend at all. I would pay the extra fees than be blinded by their cheaper fees. They are cheap for a reason.
