They were quick with their responses and had all my paperwork approved within a week of visiting the property. We managed to get approved all within a week and kept in contact throughout the process. Everyone I dealt with were friendly and professional, they were able to help me with any questions I had. Overall a seamless process without fault.

Steve arrived on time and showed me around the property while explaining everything as we walked around the house including the local area. 15th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)This is a public announcement to those trying to get a property through Maddison Fox. Stay well clear of this Lettings agency! Shanon Davis the lettings co-ordinator of Maddison fox Loughton branch is very unprofessional and collusive and preys on vulnerable individuals for financial gains. I was initially pressured by Jamie Chappell into paying 6 months rent in advance to secure my “spot” or I will lose my holding deposit, which made no sense as I was eligible to rent on a monthly basis. The communication was very one sided from the pair of them, as they only contacted me when they felt like and did not return any calls/emails when I was trying to reach them. I was given the complete run around during the process of moving in and trying to vacate the premises. Originally I was suppose to move in at the end of October 2023, however they delayed my move in date by an additional 2 weeks, which left me out of pocket as I had to call in the removal team and call off work. Now that I am trying to vacate the premises she is trying to coerce me into extending the lease for another 6 months, even though I have given her 2 months notice before the 6 month break clause which is stated on my contract. She is also is trying to make me responsible to find her a new tenant, which I find hilarious because isn’t that their job? I know I am well within in my rights in my contract. This is just a friendly public announcement to avoid dealing with Shannon and Jamie as they both seem to have hidden agendas and financially motivated interests. This has been nothing but a horrible experience and I would not want anyone else to experience what I have!

Mandy provided guidance when needed and chased solicitors on my behalf, Faye’s persistence helped my exchange and completion go through all in the same day. Chalk Street have proved that you don’t need to spend extra hundreds of pounds to sell your property.

Both as a tenant and as a buyer the service was excellent, great communication and friendly staff. Should we ever come to sell our home I'd for sure be returning to William Rose to facilitate. He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry

19th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars due to the nightmarish experience with the sellers' solicitors throughout the entire process. Their questionable practices have made the situation incredibly challenging, potentially necessitating legal intervention, which only exacerbates the issue. While it's true that sellers have the autonomy to choose their solicitors, it's reasonable to expect processes in place to ensure they select reputable ones, especially considering the control exerted over buyers to prevent withdrawal before the exchange. On a positive note, Nick/Jamie provided exceptional support and assistance throughout the entire process, even extending his help beyond completion. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to others and would certainly engage with them again in the future, terms and conditions apply*.
