10th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!
14th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)Found that viewing were being booked but some never showed, offers were being made but always mysteriously disappear or are not chased back. Just lost confidence completely. The feedback was vague also.
2nd Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)We had a very pleasant experience with the estate agent and the staff. They kept me updated on the progress of the viewings and the feedback from the viewers. We find them very helpful.
31st Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Devon was really helpful and communicated well throughout the process of purchasing our first property. The process can be gruelling and lengthy however Devon was always in touch and would get back to me regarding queries promptly. I feel he is a credit to your branch and I have been overall very pleased with how he dealt with our our purchase.

The process is smooth and only made better by the lovely people working in the office. Thank you Jonathan, Jo, Sue and everyone else!

13th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Tried buying a house and had the worst experience ever. Leasehold listed as freehold. Firstly the didn’t present the offer to buyer u til chased. Paul who was handling the deal was away most of the time. Property was moved to Sold STC & then back on market before the survey report come back. Complete silence for over a month after asking for negotiations. The whole process was stressful and very frustrating. Seller solicitors to hold initial contract pack. I would stay away and look elsewhere.

You could always depend on them to put your mind at ease if you had any questions . There professionalism was second to none .

Helen Larkin and Beverly were Amazing , we had a lot of ups and downs selling ,nothing but things we couldn’t foresee ,but they were there every step of the way to help and reassure ,it would have been a hard time without them , so a massive Thank you !jane and family

25th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a really positive experience buying my house through Wentworth. The entire team were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout, always quick and efficient in responding to questions and keeping things moving. They stayed on top of developments across the whole chain, which made the process much less stressful. They also gave really useful recommendations for contractors and specialists for bits that came up in the survey. Would definitely recommend!

20th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Sent out viewing request via right move on Friday for a rental property, filled out there form via email on Saturday (67 questions from) called on Monday and was told to fill out form, re filled form again was told someone will look through the application and get back to me to arrange a viewing,.rang back Tuesday, get told same and says they have received my form and someone will arrange viewing for next week, Wednesday property let already, they even said to me they can't do viewings because they haven't got the keys and they are trying to get access to the property so viewing would be next week, total waste of time and effort, what's the point of saying we will hold viewings next week and make ppl fill out silly forms with 67 questions, and then let agreed and don't update ppl who made a full application. Waste of time and space, if they are like this with just a rental query I don't want to know whats.it like being a tenant, may be it's good that I didn't get to view may be dodged a bullet here. Family run business my backside, total waste of space and lies throughout. Stay clear. Oh they make you fill out housing application form with the pretence that if you like it they can process applications quickly, that's without even getting to see the house yet, so you could fill out long form and make application, but if your lucky to see the house you may not like it but they have all your details already as you made a full application, just to see the house. You give them time and effort and they don't give nothing back, not even a call.or email to say property off the market,. Stay away from them.
8th Feb 2026 (20 weeks ago)Marc Cox was a great choice of estate agent. Competitively priced. He told us exactly what we needed to do. Communication was fast and clear. House went under offer quickly. Would definitely recommend and if we were staying local we would use again.
