I use a different email when I signed up. Don't claim we haven't communicated, thx! They cancelled viewing with 50-mins notice. I've met other agencies that have properties taken off market just before viewing. Yet, some would let me know hours beforehand, and some would tell me the fact, but would still be happy to view if I wanted, given notice being too short.

Tenant for over 14 months. They are the absolute worst lettings agency I have ever experienced in all my years renting in the UK.
I viewed an apartment occupied by other tenants at the time and agreed to rent when they vacated. 6 weeks later when I moved in I found the apartment was absolutely filthy. There was rotting food in the cupboards, filth and mould in the bathroom, mud all over the floors, cracked plaster in all the rooms from building work, rubbish in the sitting room, a broken shower screen was dumped on the bed and there was what a cleaner later confirmed to be urine on the bedroom floor.
I told Bridgfords about the disgraceful condition of the apartment and asked them to clean it. I was told word for word - "cleaning an apartment is a special request and you never requested you wanted it cleaned when you viewed it 6 weeks ago". They refused to clean it and I had to pay professionals to do it.
Issues with the dishwasher and other appliances were reported and I never even received a response never mind a solution.
At the end of my tenancy I left that apartment in almost perfect condition. They tried to charge me £220 to have it cleaned. Thankfully they were rejected by the deposit protection agency.
Customer service was either non existent or rude. Bridgfords didn't respond to emails for weeks at a time and wouldn't even follow their own complaints procedure when I took it further. Bethany was the only one who was helpful in my entire experience with this agency.
I would strongly advise any prospective tenant to avoid them at all costs.
I thoroughly recommend Reside as a property management company. I was hesitant to lease a UK flat when I live so far away from the UK, but for the 3 years so far it has been easy. The service is both personal and professional (thanks Laura and Kate in particular!), communication is efficient, and flat inspections are comprehensive (with a full set of photos emailed to the landlord). This is a friendly, energetic and very competent independent company, not a faceless corporation. Top marks - thanks chaps!
This agency is absolutely horrible. They charge hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds for literally everything. Beware of the hidden fees. They like to charge you fees that are not even mentioned in your contract. Some of the people working there have no manners and no customer services skills whatsoever. Contacting them is useless since they won't try to resolve your issue or even apologise for any inconveniences and will make you feel like you've done something wrong instead. When something needs to be fixed in the flat, they take months to send someone over. They make excuses that their contractors are too busy. Even when the contractor was supposed to arrive, he didn't come and didn't even bother sending a message. I don't care if the contractors are busy or not. From my standpoint, I'm just getting a bad service. Why would landlords even bother paying you a monthly fee? You're not doing what you're supposed to do.
Great viewing, I think they're one of the only Agents that still give you a good Brochure with all the information you need. The team in sales made sure there was no radio silence throughout the sale and kept me up to date. If I eventually sell my new apartment, it'll be with Philip James!
I woudn't recomend this agency to my worse enemy.
They don't care about you, just care about your money, and they will do all possible to make you pay the fees of the house and then make you give up on the same house.
They are the worse agency I know so far.
DON'T USE THEM.
I'm a tenant and they handle every issue very promptly. As an example, when I locked myself out once, this guy Joe Royle helped me with a spare key in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend.
Stay away from them! After paying the agency fees I was told I need to pay another £66 for check in fee which was not mentioned to me during the viewing when I explicitly asked a list of all fees for moving in. When I expressed my disappointment I was told that the agent was new in his job and he did a simple mistake forgetting to mention a fee of £66!!!
Staff are very rude, with negative and unprofessional attitude. They don't reply to emails either. I'm about to move in in few weeks and they haven't even completed the referencing process. Unsure if I ever move in.
Fantastic service. I was looking to relocate to the area and viewed the property I eventually bought quite a few times. Jennie was very patient and extremely helpful throughout the whole process from the initial viewing to picking up the keys. I would definitely recommend Stevenson Whyte to any potential purchaser.
