10th Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

15th Jun 2026 (15 weeks ago)The initial meeting to value the property, the subsequent meeting to take photos and the organising of the paperwork was great, we were impressed, which was why we went with them. Unfortunately, after 14 weeks on the market they had only got us 2 viewings and their communication to us was a bit hit and miss, so we decided to go with a different agent. They weren’t the right agent for us on this occasion.

4th Sep 2026 (22 days ago)Jo was a fabulous support throughout the process of my Mum moving house. Nothing was too much trouble for her both on the buying and selling sides, and she managed everything to make sure that Mum did not get unnecessarily stressed or uncertain.

Buying a house can be incredibly stressful, especially with a long chain involved, but Julie was proactive, supportive, and always kept things moving. Her communication, persistence, and coordination made a huge difference and genuinely helped get the purchase over the line. The wider team were also professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. Thank you again to Julie and the team for all of your hard work. We really appreciate it and would highly recommend Gascoigne Halman.

11th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Sell well managed to sell our house very quickly we were really happy with the quality of the advert and the photos gave of a great example of what our house had to offer.<br><br>Their communication throughout was very good.<br><br>Claire who was in charge of our sale was really efficient and communicated very well with us and the buyer.<br><br>Would definitely recommend Sell Well and we would 100% use their services again in the future.

He also understood what we were looking for in a home, and was able to show us a house which had not gone on the market yet - something we really appreciated after going to house viewings with other estate agents that felt very busy and pressured! 15th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)I'm a owner of a property maintenance business who works for several landlords in the area. Yesterday I had cause to attend the office to collect the keys for a nearby apartment in order to redecorate before a new tenant takes occupation. Due to an unfortunate incident over the weekend with another member of staff the keys were not on site. At this point I was very frustrated as I only have a small window of opportunity to do my job however, I was put at ease by a young lady named Rene who pulled out all the stops to arrange for me to collect the keys later in the day. I have been at the property today and who should appear again but Rene as she showed several potential tenants around the property. I couldn't help but overhear the talk and the sales pitch by Rene to the visitors and I was totally blown away by her professionalism, her very good manners and her overall demeanour. Today she was the face of your business and as a fellow business owner I think she did the company proud. She is a shining example of what a good customer facing representative should be. 5 stars.
