On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)There is a reason Maxwell Douglas sell the most houses in Chipping Norton and the surrounding areas year-after-year. They're professional, and their knowledge of the area is second-to-none.<br><br>We moved to Maxwell Douglas after a bad experience with another agent, and they had us re-listed with new photos taken within two days. We subsequently had an offer and sold the house with two weeks, after multiple viewings.<br><br>We had the pleasure of dealing with Andy, and Marc, and I'd have no problem recommending them to others thinking about selling, or buying, locally.<br><br>Thank you for everything!

1st Nov 2026 (1 day ago)99h did not stop advertising my home after the contract ended, which meant that I was unable to respond to any enquiries received, which would have harmed my reputation as a seller. 99h did not always approve details/changes within 48 hours as promised, and resultantly, I missed a boxing day deadline. The staff are very quick to get in touch when selling upgrades or extending contracts, but are very slow to respond to queries. For the sake of £99 it might be worth a try, but keep your expectations low.

From the initial valuation, speedy marketing, prompt arrangement of viewings and remarkably quick offer of the asking price, the whole process was swift, professional and efficient. We highly recommend Cherry Picked. Their team were a pleasure to work with.

Even with this Pandemic the team at Banbury have been great! Thank you - especially to Julie!
16th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)The first meeting I had was with Catherine to introduce Savills of Banbury to me and to value the property, then everything was pasted over to Francesca Moss. Francesca was so efficient and helpful and very uplifting. We laughed a great deal which made the whole experience of selling and buying no where near as stressful as it can be. I have moved and developed several houses, dealt with estate agents and never have I had this level of efficiency and fun as Francesca made this sale.
