16th Nov 2018 (6 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.

10th Oct 2024 (18 weeks ago)I contacted Strutt & Parker in Exeter to sell my late parents home in Sidmouth. Isabel Clifton came and looked around the property, she was punctual and very professional with a friendly attitude. Isabel had a good grasp of the market and how to market the property in a difficult housing market. Isabel and her team provided good helpful advice and had an excellent knowledge of marketing our property. Their whole approach was professional, from valuing the property, to producing the particulars and photographs, to arranging the viewings and showing the potential purchasers around the property and achieving a good sale price that I was very happy with. I would highly recommend Isabel Clifton & her team if you are wishing to market a property. Robin Gabriel

Their team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to all of our needs. What truly set them apart was their attention to detail and dedication. They were always quick to answer any questions we had, and they guided us through every step of the process with ease. We never felt pressured and always felt like a priority. We highly recommend May Whetter & Grose to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent. Their expertise and customer service are second to none!

27th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Wish I could’ve bought through the local estate agent; Brunel Estate Agents. Ideal Homes epitomise a big company that know nothing about the property, the area or any legal requirements. They market properties with gardens that aren’t owned by the property, don’t bother advertising the parking at properties with parking in areas where parking is at a premium. When they accept your offer they wait weeks to actually send the memorandum of sale, then during the sale don’t bother to keep you up to date, chase the seller or update you on changes such as the seller pulling out! Total incompetence on every level. Wouldn’t buy or sell with them even if they paid me to.- 26th Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago)I cannot praise Stratton Creber, Liskeard, highly enough. Everyone was so professional, friendly, and efficient. Sue especially, was absolutely brilliant, in my view she went that "extra mile," and "above and beyond the call of duty." There were several extraneous issues and problems which had to be dealt with, some of which were not exactly within Sue's remit. However, she dealt with them, and got them resolved. Moving house is always very stressful. On occasions, I would have a "wobble," thinking that we'd never reach the point at which we are now. But, I was always reassured that we would get there, and sure enough, we have done. I cannot thank the team enough - Finn, Jamie, and especially Sue, for all that they have done. I would definitely recommend Stratton Creber. ???? Thanks again, team.

18th Jan 2024 (1 year ago)Absolutely awful start to finish. Agent valued the property wrong, wouldn't answer emails, didn't pass on an offer, and messed up the paperwork almost costing the sale. Never experienced such a terrible agency in 30 years and having bought/sold dozens of properties

The team did a great job on the listing, being so flexible and helpful when we were in a difficult situation, and the sales progression team really helped keep things on track with the entire chain whilst giving us frequent updates. We really noticed the level of expertise, professionalism and genuine commitment to acting in our interests. Would highly recommend.

I feel sorry for the property owners who are selling through them. I will not be buying through them that's for sure. Stay away property sellers.
11th Jun 2024 (8 mo. ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

31st Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
