Everyone I dealt with in the office was fantastic - efficient, professional, helpful - but Geoff in particular was an absolute star. Usually my experiences with estate agents are tolerable at best, but D. R. Kivell was a pleasure to work with, even when it got a bit rough at the end. I can't speak for the seller they represented, but certainly when dealing with us as buyers it was clear that they were looking out for her interests too, and they were extremely fair and up front throughout the process. If I ever sell the beautiful house they sold to me, they would be my first choice of agent. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Having carried out the recommended survey work on the exterior of the property, we were interested to find out how this had affected the value of the property. James very kindly carried out a valuation without any commitment knowing we had no intent in moving. He managed to carry out the survey on the day. Fabulous service, very grateful, thank you.

11th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Had a holiday booked for 7 months , to be advised the owner was having renovation works and cancelled our holiday. We got offered a later date but due to the school holidays it wasnt possible.If we wanted to have another property it was at our costs no gesture of good will nothing. We have been customers of John Bray for over 25 years. When we have issued a letter of complaint they again havent had the decency to acknowledge. I/we will certainly never book again with this company. A real shame but clearly they dont have any loyalty for valued customers.- 25th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Confident but not arrogant agent. Good knowledge of the area and was able to until confidence in me that she will do all she can to sell the property. Once on the market she arranged viewings very quickly, making me feel confident she is pushing my house to buyers and making it noticed. She provided good advice and guidance about offers leading to an asking price within and a bit above my expectations. She is proactive in the process of the sale now and I feel confident in her driving the sale to completion. Only draw back is the fee which is higher than all other agencies.

Great in the beginning when we were paying our rent on time. but then when we moved the pettiness of the final inspection of the property was Absolutely ridiculous, down to cobwebs in the garage, light bulbs not working, left a coat hangers in a cupboard, left a glass in the kitchen cupboard, I believe they Are trying to keep our deposit. I would not recommend them to anyone.
