We would highly recommend using them, excellent service with a warm and friendly approach- while being totally professional.

5th Feb 2026 (16 weeks ago)I met with 3 estates agents, 2 were larger companies, but I was instantly more comfortable with Mark, he took the time to explain things and I felt like I could ask stupid questions. The photographer who was used was also really good, we bagged up items to move and he moved them around as needed and made it all really easy. Everyone who contacted me to arrange viewings has been really friendly, professional and approachable, and Trish who dealt with the offers was excellent.

They provided clear, detailed reports and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Communication was prompt and reliable throughout, and they were always happy to answer any questions. Their attention to detail and expertise gave me real confidence in the process.

Called and emailed multiple times over three weeks just to arrange a viewing, was asked for my availability and then completely ignored, I wouldn’t waste my time! Despite ‘circumstances beyond your control’ it was well within your control to bother to spend 3 minutes emailing me back, to let me know that, before I had to leave this review! Terrible communication!

21st Feb 2021 (5 years ago)I would not recommend butters to anyone. After giving me a speach that they would sell my house with in 2 weeks for more money than any other estate agent could (they didn't) I didn't hear off them for months. I eventually phoned them to tell them to take it off the market and I was going with someone else, they informed I had 2 weeks left on the contract so I decided to wait. After I reduced my sale price (something else they said I would never have to do), and after they actually did an advertising push on my property they got a sale.

16th May 2022 (4 years ago)Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.

We dealt with other estate agents in our buying process who left a lot to be desired to say the least and showed the vast gulf in class between local everyday operators and Eliza. Will be recommending her to anyone that asks!
