19th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)For starters, if there were an option for 0 stars, Harry Harper Lettings would have earned it with flying colours.<br>Nothing quite says "welcome to your new home" like finding raw fish left in the freezer, eight full bin bags decorating the garden, and a mould-ridden bedroom that had clearly never seen treatment. It's a truly unique move-in experience.<br>Communication was equally impressive. If you've ever wanted to spend your time speaking to robots, being ignored altogether, or being passed between people who don't know the answer and have no intention of finding it, you're in luck. Customer service appears to be treated as more of a theoretical concept than an actual service.<br>The grand finale? Being charged £400 from our deposit when leaving, despite the condition the property was handed over in.<br>A letting agent's job is supposed to be managing properties and supporting tenants. Harry Harper Lettings seem to have interpreted this somewhat differently.<br>An amateur operation at best. The rental market deserves better, and tenants deserve their rights.

I had so many questions about the property I was told about and she really helped with all of my questions. Her professionalism whilst discussing and viewing the property was impeccable and I would be happy if I ever had to use your company again. Thank you so much Claire!
10th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)1 star because I cannot review lower.<br>Cumulatively hours left on hold, multiple separate requests for a viewing to a property which were ignored over the span of 2-3 weeks. The property in question was then let out due to the landlord progressing with another party- as is their right, but even still, there was an easy chance to go for a viewing in those 3 weeks before that happened.<br>The application process demands too much information which is simply not relevant to the viewing, the staff are unhelpful and the website is utter rubbish.

11th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Cannot thank Paula and Matt enough for their professionalism. They restored our faith in the process of selling and Paula went above and beyond when handling our sale. From the minute we met Paula we knew we were in safe hands. Her enthusiasm and dedication to her profession is clear and she offered us valuable advice throughout the process of selling and even our onward purchase. Nothing was too much to ask and we were constantly updated as to progress. If we were to sell again we would not hesitate to use Paula and Matt at Priory Property Tunstall.

I can Highly Recommend using this agency. I was not even a client and Alex and the team all went over and beyond to provide me with keys to a flat I purchased. I arrived late on a Saturday and they moved mountains to make keys avail to me. I am now a client, but was not at the time they did all this for me. They truly earned my business and my trust. I can assure anyone reading this that this office is truly amazing, young fresh minds with Good Old Fashioned Values. Many Thanks<br>P.S. We got constant phone calls from "vouch" asking for us to set up bills for the property and asking for card debit card information. These calls kept happening even after we didn't get the property. We won't be using keates again.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He really went above and beyond for me, especially when I had a family emergency and kindly went out of his way to drop the keys to me to save me collecting them I would 100% recommend Dean and really appreciate all of his help and support throughout the whole process. Thanks again!
24th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Got my review removed on google because i didn't comment anything which is petty as hell ! so i'll be leaving my comment here with all the legit reviews as they seem to fake and remove any none 5 star reviews from their google account! Leaving a none comment doesnt equal a fake review ( even though my account was anonymous on google doesnt mean its a fake review FYI it was anonymous for reasons i cannot state publicly ) , its weird how im being treated and singled out while literal other reviews have no comments . This further proves to me they are a disguistng company that would only value their customers if you write a 4 or 5 star glowing review. My experience with this company was horrendous , and i continue to experince their horrendous and disguting treatment i will not be using them ever again . I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY unlesss you want to get treated like utter flith by them!

From the valuation up to finding a buyer the whole team were professional, informative and very friendly. Within a week they managed to arrange few viewings and including one potential buyer. Thank you to the Critchlow team.
17th Jul 2026 (9 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
