30th Mar 2024 (27 days ago)Cameron at Goodchilds Stoke, has been excellent with the valuation of our property, advice on how best to market the property, photography to show the prime selling points of the house, and advice once the property was sold stc- our property went on the market with Goodchilds Thursday pm - 2 viewings booked for Saturday - one of which offered the full asking price which we accepted the following Monday- just wish that I had gone with Goodchilds from the beginning rather than waste 10 weeks of our time with an inferior local estate agent.

Stephanie helped to answer any questions and guide us through the sale in a professional and courteous manner (we were first time buyers). No issues at all from the first offer to completion and we had regular contact with someone, which was nice to alleviate any additional stress.

I contacted several estate agents and Stephenson Brown just seemed more genuine. We needed the agent to manage the property as we no longer live in the area. From our first contact with Sarah all the staff we have spoke to Sharon, Heather and Pam have been great. Nothing seems to much trouble and they are always willing to help in any way. We were a little sceptical at first dealing with an estate agent as we have had in the past a bad experience with another agent who promised the earth but did absolutely nothing. Stephenson Brown lined up tenants and vetted them to worm out time wasters as well as doing background checks. They showed the tenants around and reported back to us how everything was going. We needed to get some trees cut lower in the rear garden and Sarah went to the property to take pictures for us so we could see what the workers had done. Going forward we just hope all goes well working with the agent. So if you are looking for an agent who is up front and honest and who does what it says on the tin, then dont look any further. There costs are good also.

I even remember telling Dani to pour herself a glass of Prosecco one evening for helping me with something I was stuck with! Thank you too all x x
