9th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)After nearly two years on the selling journey, which began in April 2024, we have finally completed the sale of our property through the team at Bramleys Estate Agents on Victoria Road, Elland. It has been an emotional process with many ups and downs, and both my husband and I are truly grateful to Joeanne and Kerry for staying alongside us throughout. Their patience, understanding, and steady support meant a great deal during what was sometimes a stressful and uncertain time. Joeanne, in particular, was incredibly kind, reassuring, and encouraging when we needed it most. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care in helping us reach this important milestone. Thank you both and your team so much — we will always remember your support and would warmly recommend Bramleys Estate Agents in Elland.

15th Jan 2026 (13 weeks ago)Our experience with this agent was extremely disappointing and, frankly, shocking. We initially viewed the property with the vendor, and everything seemed positive. The house was listed just under £760k. At the time, our budget could stretch to around £700k (possibly slightly more). We were told this wouldn’t be enough as there was an offer of £725k on the table, although that buyer still needed to sell. On that basis, we stepped back. Several weeks later, after running the numbers again and while our own sale was uncertain, we increased our offer to £710k. After a lengthy phone conversation, the agent told us repeatedly that £725k was the figure required for a deal and that anything below this would not be considered. We were also told the vendor was thinking of withdrawing the property from the market until spring. Once our buyer had sold again, we managed to stretch to £725k and arranged a second viewing to finalise matters. During that viewing, the vendor was surprised to hear that £725k had been presented as an acceptable figure — she stated she had never told the agent she would accept this and was actually looking for much closer to £750k. When we raised this with the agent, they denied everything that had previously been said and refused to provide call recordings to clarify the situation. When pressed, the conversation became abrupt and the phone call was cut off. Had we simply been told from the start that the vendor wanted closer to £750k, we would have accepted that and made an informed decision. Instead, we were repeatedly told that £725k was the deal figure, only to later discover this was not true. This showed a serious lack of professionalism and transparency, wasted time, and caused unnecessary stress. My advice to anyone dealing with this agent is to record your own conversations. In our case, clear discussions were later denied and no call recordings were provided when requested.

I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.

From the moment we spoke, Lee was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, instantly making the process feel smooth and well organised. When we were shown around the property, his attention to detail and understanding of what we were looking for really stood out and it gave us great confidence in both him and the company. What impressed me the most was how Lee consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire purchase. He regularly sent updates by email, often at times when I wasn’t expecting them, just to keep me in the loop and to make sure I always knew what stage we were at. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making the process as stress-free and straightforward as possible. Every time I reached out to him with a question or for an update, he was quick to respond, helpful, and always reassuring. His recommendations at every step were thoughtful, clear, and incredibly useful, and it was evident that he really knew what he was talking about. 9th Apr 2026 (9 days ago)I simply find Ornella and her service exceptional and I cannot praise her enough. Having previously had my property on the market for a long period with 2 other largely recognised estate agents, Ornella provided what was disappointingly lacking from the others, which simply put was a sense of personal care & responsibility. As soon as I met Ornella, it became clear that her personality, and passion for my property were going to be the pivotal change that I needed in order to achieve a sale. She shared my passion and agreed with what I thought my home was worth, without me mentioning any figures, which was refreshing that we marketed on what the home was worth and not just looking for a quick easy sale (this sounds obvious, but having had previous with other estate agents, this is not always the case, especially if a buyer is not found quick!) I had a lot of concerns as I had gone through the disappointment of this process twice before and she delivered on her promise and more that she was going to do everything she could to sell my property. Sure enough after 1 week, a buyer was found! However, it’s not just the help of finding a buyer with Ornella, it’s the constant care (and even after-care) that she provides throughout the whole process, it was refreshing to have someone just as passionate and keen as myself to progress the sale along. House sales can be stressful enough, but having someone who can be direct, honest, kind and super helpful by being their for you every step of the way and being a constant source of communication with regular and helpful updates is critical! I would highly recommend anyone to use Ornella and don’t make the same, naive mistake I made and waste time by using another Estate agent, just because they might be well known! Thank you Ornella!
