He exceeded my expectations and so much more. Selling my home through Your Move, was simple and pleasant. The team are all lovely friendly, more importantly professional, this shines through all the staff.l sold my home 15% over the asking price. Seriously a great company!!!!. 7th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)WARNING!! Richard murray acted as co executor having written my mothers will. He was not appointed by her but by her named executor. He sided and was partial to one group of beneficiaries over another. He chose the ones nearest the property of most help to him to side with, making his job easier. The family was fractured but he showed no ability to deal with this shutting down and refusing to engage with one side. Preferentially treating the other side. He went back on his legal advice reversing decisions that suited him. Including and implementing wishes he decided my mother made Verbally only to the one side of the family, the side he demonstrated favour with. When ‘wishes’ my mother had made to the other side were brought to him he dismissed them. Biased and unfair and cruel in his handling of the estate. Delaying the inheritance by permitting one beneficiary to live rent free in the property for some fourteen months post my mothers death. Not mentioned in the will, nor discussed. Between himself, his Company or my mother - but on the say so of the side he favoured! The implemented ‘say sos’ were decided without full disclosure or discussion or transparency and he was unaccountable in that He acted like a dictator refusing telephone calls , zoom meetings or email discussions. He dragged out a simple direct will into two years of hell, stress and unnecessary expense because he favoured and decided always in favour of one half of the beneficiaries over the other. Do not write a will with this Company. They have demonstrated they are incapable of writing one correctly , giving proper advice to my Mother , and incapable of implementing it as it’s written in any event. AVOID! It’s 2026 and there are still repercussions from Richard Murray @Connell&Connell’s mis writing and massive failures in executing our Mothers will. Save yourselves a whole lot of unprofessional and uncaring and biased,will handling and don’t use this man.

Going forward with the house sale, Robert couldn't have been better, keeping me updated throughout the whole process, it was outstanding service and second to none. Thanks to the experience I received from Drummond Miller through Robert, I intend to use them again very soon when I sell my parents' house. Highly recommend without reservation
11th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)Not great - would not use again. Did nothing to find interested parties in first few weeks until I had to call a senior team member to complain... Not ideal - feel like they had too much work to handle mine at the time. Would have fathered they had just said they were too busy than wait too I was stressed and lost out on buyers.

I conducted the viewings myself with the help of a family friend but Urquharts made the appointments while consulting with us over our availability. Advice was succinct yet with the reasoning clearly explained.

Having always lived in England, we were daunted by the thought of a very different property market in Scotland but we were helped on every step of the way. Claire C was our initial contact and was so patient and supportive, explaining the system and nothing was too much trouble. Once we found a property to buy, Claire S was our solicitor. Again, she was patient, understanding and so helpful as well as being efficient, timely and diligent with all the legal work. She kept us well informed and involved at every step. We also had a lot of help and support from Suzie and Sheila, plus other members of the team. We are very grateful to them all and highly recommend Neilsons.

He was extremely communicative throughout every step of the process, and is such a friendly and warm guy. I trusted him and it paid off- because of his work, I sold my flat in a matter of days! I'd recommend Revere to everyone.

15th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Overestimated price at quote stage and advised a lower one as soon as home report valuation was received, suggesting upset price 10k below valuation. Little feedback on website viewing figures unless I phoned to request it. Support for property viewings and feedback from viewers was reasonable. Once an offer was received, I had to email and phone Thornton's legal team repeatedly to chase progress. Title deeds were already held by Thornton's, but it took two weeks to scan and email them to the solicitor, delaying written acceptance of the offer beyond the deadline given by the buyer. Solicitor handling my case seemed to think this was normal and deadlines for acceptance of offers were usually ignored. Sale is not yet complete, but I would avoid using the same company for estate agency and legal services in future. It seems to encourage complacency and inefficiency, the opposite of what I expected.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
