14th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)We put our house on the market in March, we decided on Barnard Marcus as their valuation was the highest (out of 3). Their initial contact was good and positive but after a couple of months they suggested we drop the price from 575k. To 500k, this was a huge drop and far from their valuation of 575-600k, although viewings continued they didn’t really give any updates or feedback so we ended our contract with them when the initial 20 weeks were complete.

He’s friendly, helpful and professional, and has always been quick to respond whenever we needed anything. He’s also always been very quick to sort out and fix any issues that came up. Our first offer was at asking price which we were really pleased with - and the communication throughout was amazing and it all felt very stress free (which was important as I am heavily pregnant). Allie was always there to help - recommending removal companies (who were amazing), advising on various other elements of the sale, and showing us around lots of houses in the area as we decided on our next move.<br><br>I would use Rampton Baseley and Allie again in a heartbeat - highly recommend!
