9th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)I can’t recommend Woodcock Holmes enough. Right from the first enquiry they responded quickly and came to view my property within a couple of days. Rob (Manager) talked me through his recommended asking price and the reasons for it, showed his local knowledge and wasn’t the least bit pushy. Adrian (Manager) has been great too with polite, non pushy calls and email communication. They found me a buyer within two weeks of listing with them.

6th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)A few times they didn’t get back to me after a viewing which was annoying. They wanted me to drop the price as the market had gone quiet (Christmas time). I declined and when market picked up I sold my house just under asking price.

He has been nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Buying a house can be incredibly stressful, especially after a previous collapse in the chain. But Jamie went above and beyond to make the transition as smooth as possible. He was constantly communicating, keeping us updated at every single stage and proactively chasing solicitors to make sure nothing stalled. He truly went the extra mile and exceeded all our expectations!

Tried to take our whole deposit due to apparently not giving notice when moving but we had, Gemma didn’t communicate within the work place. Had to keep contacting them to get a response about our deposit. No one ever replied unless we had emailed them 4/5 times. Very quick to be on your case when needing something but slow as a snail if you need anything sorted. Was very rude down the phone to my partner at one point.

He was also very pro active as later that day he called me back to discuss some measurements that I had requested and made the suggestion that whilst he was at the property he could WhatsApp me and give me a live video tour. Excellent idea and much appreciated as it gave me the confidence to make a four hour round trip and view the property.<br>Carson met me at the property and gave me adequate time to fully explore it, he is my opinion an extremely professional, helpful and approachable person.

Moving house can be very stressful, especially while buying a new home at the same time, but the agency was always polite, approachable, and willing to respond to questions when needed. I especially appreciated the professional handling of the checkout process and the clear communication regarding the deposit updates. Although there were a few delays waiting for landlord responses, the agency kept me informed and remained helpful throughout, which I truly appreciated. I then arrived and no one was working and just chatting and said they are busy that’s why no one answered the call. I’ve been dealing with this company for 1 month and no one ever picks up the phone. Very difficult company to deal with. Management or the boss please look into the staff very unprofessional.
