Despite us being abroad when the viewings took place, CastleBrae team kindly arranged a virtual viewing so we don't miss out on the property we were very interested in. Everything else went smoothly from there. They have been a pleasure to deal with.

26th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)I requested a visit for a valuation at Allen & Harris estate agents and had a date booked. I was allocated an estate agent from the start and he made contact with me by email to introduce himself. This gave me reassurance and comfort that I had a direct contact with an estate agent from the beginning and I didn't have to call a shop and wait to be put through to speak to an estate agent. Due to a change of circumstances I had to change date of valuation and contacted Tony my estate agent to see if he could attend my home that same day. To my surprise Tony fitted me in for a valuation the same day! I was delighted with the service. It was unhurried, straight to the point and most importantly I didn't feel under pressure to choose them. The whole visit was finished within 45 mins which suited me as I had other things to do that day. More importantly Allen & Harris had the best rates compared to other estate agents. Since choosing Allen & Harris I have been in contact with my estate agent Tony nearly everyday asking questions and finalising my plans. Tony always returns my emails promptly and nothing is ever a hassle! I wasn't looking forward to having estate agents visit my house and listen to their marketing spiel but Tony was different and made choosing an estate agents easier than expected. I would highly recommend Tony at Allen & Harris, Stirling.

Peter and his team know what they are doing and provide the standard of service you would expect from a company at this level, easily. I cannot recommend Savills highly enough and will certainly use them again in any property sale or purchase.
12th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)We used S&P successfully 7 years ago to sell our previous flat so decided to use them again. David Law was professional, engaging, and has excellent local knowledge. He was also realistic which we found most reassuring. We were then introduced to Ian Ely-Corbett who went out of his way to make the process of selling our home stress free and run as smoothly as possible. He was easy to contact by email or phone or text. We would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property. What made the difference was S&P’s personal service and attention to detail.

Quite different from my experience with other estate agents whom I have used in the past. 100% top class service

9th Apr 2024 (25 days ago)Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone. Poor service. Impolite staff. Scraping the bottom of the barrel to take your deposit, after being forced to leave after only 7 month tenancy due to the poor condition of the property overall, from weeks without heating and cooker/ oven, to damp and mould issues causing illness to name only a few. You have to chase everything as promises to call you back don’t happen, they don’t want to deal with it and can’t get you off the phone quick enough when there’s issues. I could honestly go on and on about all the service failings throughout. Felt forced to accept a ridiculous deposit reduction as I could not deal with the stress they had caused any longer throughout and after the tenancy. Would NEVER trust to rent a property through them again personally. *EDIT To your response, you’re very good at passing blame to the landlord, you failed to accept responsibility for your service shortcomings, failed to acknowledge the poor condition of the property i had to live in, or rude staff encounters. I tend to only leave positive reviews, this has nothing to do with "a kick on the way out". Northwood Falkirk has been far from a delight to deal with, thats all.

Faked the inventory report when I moved in, everything is a mess when I moved in.

16th Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)Had the misfortune of being recommended this firm and decided to use them to handle my divorce. Huge mistake. Mr Tait provided a thoroughly shocking service representing me. I won’t bore with specifics but some highlights are: Failed to turn up to court once and failed to be prepared a second time resulting in the sheriff awarding damages against me - which his firm absorbed as it was their fault. Or so they said, the final bill breakdown was so flimsy I suspect he just charged me extras elsewhere to cover this. Money (a huge amount) paid to him to be sent to another Falkirk firm took SIX WEEKS and many threats to finally be transferred. This should have taken less than 48 hours. Final bill double original estimate. His representation was so shoddy I looked at taking them to to Ombudsman, and a solicitor agreed I had a case but in the end decided it was too much stress. I wish I’d looked at google reviews first, the service was horrific and cost me a fortune as well as a lot of stress. They are slow, terrible communicators and the office practices are stuck in the past. Lesley Anderson Law was the solicitor for the other side and seemed to do a formidable job. But in all honesty I’d recommend the ambulance chasing lawyer from The Simpsons over Mr Tait.
24th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)What an amazing service from start to finish from both Jennifer, Andrew and Janice. For anyone who wants a simple, and efficient estate agent look no further. Our house went up on the market the week of Christmas when most estate agents close. Not Avenue Road. They made sure that everything still processed as normal and our house went up within days to ensure we were able to reserve our new home. The whole process was easy with them and made it very simple and straight forward for us. Andrew was always on hand for us regarding any viewings and interest. Jennifer was giving us regular updates and keeping us in the loop. One thing I would say which stands them out from the crowd is they are always on hand. For example we had a request at 10pm on a Saturday night for a viewing which we were delighted about. Within minutes we had it booked. You won’t get that 24/7 service anywhere else. At the very start we had a few estate agents come to negotiate with us but felt like a number with them and just another tick box. With Jennifer and Andrew we were a family looking to sell and move to our forever home and they wanted it for us. I could go on and on about how amazing they were and so grateful for them. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. Thank you again and always welcome for a cuppa in our new home.
