We registered with Ben at Keatons and not having great experiences with agents we were hesitant. After explaining all our needs Ben sent my partner a few options that fit exactly what we were looking for, you rarely get properties that match with what you actually tell your agent what you're looking for, unfortunately we missed out on the property we offered on. We would recommend Stratford rent department to any of our friends in the area though.
I am single mother rented a property for two years from Keatons and never missed rent payment looked after the flat as I am mature and clean person after two years they said land lord decided to sell apartment and I should leave the flat. They harassed me with phone calls agent turning to the property without prior notice I felt intimidated specially when one time saw agent trying to open my flat with the copy they had their excuse was the knocked and no body answered,, till this day I am scared to open doors and have three locks, I found out that the land lord never sold flat they just increased rent and rented it to some family 35% more than what I used to pay. You are rubbish agents gangsters and criminals.
Sayma Begum was very helpful about my potential purchase of a house and very understanding when I felt I had to back out.
I would give them zero stars if that was an option.
I specifically instructed them not to put a board up in front of the house in order to deter any vandalism/theft etc and they went against my wishes and put a board up anyway.
Haart said they received an offer of £xxxk which seemed unrealistic as the house was valued at £50k less. I was instructed to notify the solicitors and paid them to start work. However, after 2 weeks I heard nothing, when questioned they gave unacceptable excuses (the prospective buyers were busy etc).
After coming from from holiday, Haart told me about another offer - £20k less but cash. Again, after a few weeks I found out that the solicitors still hadn't even exchanged details, accompanied by more time-wasting excuses.
They finally told me the prospective buyers were waiting for a survey which wasn't booked in for another few weeks. But when I asked local surveyors they said they were available to check out the property within the next few days.
While I continued to wait for this survey, Haart informed me of further offers which never materialised, much like the first 2 bogus offers. It seemed there was no due diligence checks done on potential offers at all....or there were no offers to begin with!
By this time the property had been up with Haart for 6 weeks. I instructed Haart to tell serious buyers to put down a deposit of £5k to secure the sale. But after countless excuses, almost 2 months of time wasted and loss of potential rental income, I then went with another estate agent instead who rented the property within 2 days and kept me informed throughout the process.
Haart also left post lying around when prospective buyers came to view the property which is extremely unprofessional.
In summary, it was a complete waste of time and money to use Haart and they were beyond unprofessional throughout the whole process.
We had an excellent experience, as buyers, with Petty Son and Prestwich. They were informative and very quick to respond to any questions we had, which, as first time buyers, was important for us. Each member of the team was very helpful and honest regarding our situation as the move progressed. When we come to move on, I expect we'll come back to them to do our sale. Highly recommended and many thanks for all your help.
After showing interest in an apartment in Snaresbrook and arranging a viewing by phone, I received an email confirming the address and time for the viewing. As it turned out, I was given the wrong postcode and therefore arrived at the wrong address, a 20 minute walk away from where the property was actually located. I received a call from Du Preez Botha who asked me where I was and, after explaining to him that he had indeed given me the wrong postcode he said "well I had the same postcode as you and have never been here before myself and I've managed to find it". Although I should have checked the name of the road itself as well as the postcode, I did only use the postcode as I was using my google maps app. Estate agents are by nature rather arrogant people who know the rental market well, they have a lot of interest in each property. Having said this, if a mistake is made on one's part, one should accept this, not blame the client. He did apologise, although this didn't feel too sincere. I also work in a very busy office where I am responsible for providing addresses to clients. So a word of advice from me would be to: A. double check both the number / name and street name and B. make sure the postcode provided to a potential client matches the address. In this way the time wasted for both parties will be avoided.
Outlook are fantastic estate agents - a really refreshing addition to the profession! We were first looked after by Mark, who dealt with the process up until acceptance of offer and throughout we felt considered, safe and well advised. Highly recommended! From here, Adnan stepped in and from our first piece of correspondence we felt like we were dealing with a highly knowledgable, very diligent friend, rather than an estate agent. Adnan was sincere and positive from start to finish and we never once felt like he was just trying to get a deal over the line; our best interests were always the primary driver. Both Mark and Adnan are assets to the Outlook team and I can say with the utmost confidence that we'll be using them for any property sale in the future!
I've dealt with 4 other estate agents in the past and never felt the need to warn other people of their dreadful service provided, from start to finish we received incredibly lazy communications, expect to wait a week for an email reply, you can try calling but you'll be never get past the receptionist who makes a false promise of a call back.
Big thanks to Stratford branch for great service. Izabela did great job to get us moved in.
Just a bunch of thieving criminals. When we were in the property rather than sorting problems they just tried to point the finger at us instead. This includes a gas leak in the property. Now we have been moved out and away from that hell hole it has been 2 years and they still haven't paid us back our deposit. I have spoken to the landlord, he told them to return the full deposit, they are ignoring him and us and just stealing our money.
They are a bunch of thieving criminals and need to be shut down.
I recently completed a purchase through Foxtons at Stratford as recently as January 2018. I must say the entire team is very friendly and professional and I would like to give a special thanks to both Shanola and Simon for going beyond their call of duty and doing everything they can to complete the sale as swiftly as possible.
I would highly recommend Foxtons as the place to both buying and selling your property as they do what they say and a company that stands out from rest of the competition.
Worst money grabbing estate agents in the country. Ruthless exploitation of London renters and huge players in the legal racket that is private renting in London. Morally repugnant. Avoid like the clap.
