We have used Sonny (from Foxtons) to buy our first property. Sonny's service has been bespoke. He was there from the beginning to the end, helping us conclude the deal. It was a tricky situation because there were tenants in the flat that should have been inside until August. However, we needed them to leave before the end of June to benefit from the Stamp Duty holiday. Sonny, who was in contact with us but as well the sellers and the tenants, has helped us massively to reach to an agreement that was "win-win-win", in which all three parties were happy ! Always proactive, smart and smiling, we can now see why he is so successful. Before engaging in such a project, we did not think having a good Estate Agent by our side was necessary. We thought buying a flat was just a formal process, very standard with lots of paperwork. You cannot imagine how much of a difference it is making actually working with someone that knows what he is doing and that is working in your best interest. Sonny, you are our star my friend !... The worst experience I have ever had in dealing with estate agents. Both of these guys were the utter epitome of slimy estate agents who do not care about you and quite literally just want to take your money. From booking the first viewing - I called on a Saturday and spoke to David Morgan who agreed to do a viewing on Monday (there was no mention of having to ask the current tenants to confirm from him, he just just out-rightly said it was booked) - I did not recieve a confirmation email all the way up until the Monday 10am - (the viewing was booked for 11am) - so ended up calling the the branch again who had NO record of me even calling to book! Eventually one of the staff members traced the call back to David’s number (this staff member also said this is quite usual of David’s behaviour). I eventually saw the property and my sister too and we both agreed to make an offer. Suddenly, David messaged me to say the flat is only available THREE WEEKS after we already agreed to move/the date he told us and blamed it on the current tenants. I said we would have to think about it but he ended up being very pushy with his words in forcing me to extend my current tenancy as “It would be a great price to get this one in The Sphere so hopefully you can accommodate those couple of weeks?” (I have the text messages). I didn’t hear back from my current agent immediately with regards to extending and David was even saying he would get in touch with them himself! So unpleasantly forceful! As if it ends there. Me and my sister decided to make an offer and David asked us to come back to the office where his colleague would be to put down the offer etc as he stated he couldn’t(?). Waiting at the office suddenly his colleague “was out at a viewing” and “couldn’t get in touch with him”. So we decided to leave and agreed I would get a phone call in the morning the next day to confirm the offer. The next morning I revive a text message form David to say he was “suddenly off sick...and at the GP” and that someone else had put an offer in so we would have to make our “best offer”. I cannot believe this...It was promised that this colleague “Ketan” would be calling me at 9am - obviously I didn’t get a call and had to call the branch around 11/12? Maybe even later to be called back. When Ketan eventually called me back he asked me how I could be helped? Surely he knew that we were trying to make an offer since yesterday and that he was supposed to call me at 9am!? No apology at all and in actual fact he was rude and obnoxious and pushed me to increase my offer and length of contact without a break clause saying the landlord would “take the best offer”. Before the phone call ended I asked when he would get back to me on whether the landlord would accept or not, he said by the end the of the day - this was Friday 6th July, it’s now Thursday 26th.... and nothing. I did not call to enquire because quite frankly we had had enough, luckily we have found a beautiful place to live now but stuck with an extra two weeks rent to pay at my current place due to the awful cut-throat behaviour of these two staff members of Foxtons - mainly David Morgan. Our whole experience with this agency has been absolutely disgusting and I will genuinely shout to the hills and back to everyone NOT to use them.... Read more

I recently contacted Franklyn James about my intention to rent out my vacant property. It was a Saturday, and I had no expectations of hearing back that day. But that same day a manager from Franklyn James, Inga, called and arranged to visit my property. She provided a rental valuation, gave me a run-down of the services Franklyn James offer, and useful information about the current market. I had spoken to other agents during my research, but after learning all Franklyn James had to offer, and experiencing the honesty and professionalism, I had no hesitation in opting to use their service over the others. Within days my flat was on the market, and they had found me a tenant. Highly recommend for other landlords.... Read more

Terrible customer service. As many other estate agents they stopped working once they secured my deposit. Terrible communications, I had to chase up almost everything, no repairs were made, I didn't get my contract until the very last day and now have to reorganize the entire flat as the painters have to paint the flat 2 weeks after I moved in instead of before. Avoid.... TL DR: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACK PROFESSIONALISM... Read more

I am a landlord and have used Morgan Randall to look after my property, I am sorry to say that they are absolutely useless, they have had many changes of staff in their property management section. They do not bother to respond to emails etc, once they have you tied into a contract they are just not bothered. In our case all they do is collect money and then pass it onto us and have no regard for customer service. On another note I do feel that their salesmen work extremely hard and are very good to help let your property out especially Jamie however they are badly let down by an incompetent property management section. It is such a shame as I am sure that they lose a lot of repeat business due to this.... Read more

Just a bunch of thieving criminals. When we were in the property rather than sorting problems they just tried to point the finger at us instead. This includes a gas leak in the property. Now we have been moved out and away from that hell hole it has been 2 years and they still haven't paid us back our deposit. I have spoken to the landlord, he told them to return the full deposit, they are ignoring him and us and just stealing our money. They are a bunch of thieving criminals and need to be shut down.... Johns & Co - New Providence Wharf

A very impressive space. I attended for a conference and was impressed with the arena. Plenty of food options line the outer ring of the arena, and a small portion is actually a mall with some options for shopping. There are so many choices, but I'd avoid the place with Slug in the name. Can someone explain this to an American? I would never go a restaurant with the word slug in the name. Starbucks in the main entryway is a very busy place, but was my morning routine while attending the conference. Inside the arena proper, you have a variety of seating areas. The 100 levels have relatively large seats with plenty of legroom. I was actually surprised by how comfortable I was in these areas. Up higher in the 400s, you'll have less space, but great views. Be careful standing up, especially if you have problems with vertigo. I didn't enjoy the upper levels, and mostly remained seated during sessions when I was seated up top. There is a clear security presence in the arena during events, and I am thankful that these people are alert and aware. Outside the arena, there are also many shops and space for walking. It made for nice breaks in between sessions. Easy to get to on the jubilee line, you won't have a problem getting in or out of the arena area.... Read more

Enjoyed the show on Sunday however upon entry into the arena the security remove all drink or food from your bags. This includes sweets that i had for the children's train journey home. I can understand the reasoning for this in the current times we live in but I do think that this should be CLEARLY stated when booking any tickets. Once inside you are forced to queue a very long time for very overpriced food and drinks (£10 for a bag of candy floss is a blatant rip off ) I refused to pay the extortionate prices which upset the children so spoiling what was otherwise a good day out. For a successful and flourishing venue I cannot see any reason for the need to charge over the top prices other than pure greed, for this reason alone I refuse to award even 1 star but have to otherwise I cannot post... Personally think this is a dishonest agent. If you have to use them, may well consider record each conversation and ask all communication to be done on paper. Also be mindful what the agents told you when showing you the rooms---my suggestion is to ignore whatever good words they said. In short, if you really have to use them, please ask everything to be in paper form and don't be deceived by the superficial friendliness and smile. Of course, better not go there if you could.......
