19th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Absolutely shocking experience with CJ Hole Downend.<br><br>I viewed a property, completed all the requested checks with the person on the phone, and promptly sent over proof of funds a few days later and everything else they asked for. After that, I heard absolutely nothing back.<br><br>I emailed four times and called twice trying to get an update. Not a single response to any of my emails, and no meaningful communication whatsoever. Then, without any notification or courtesy update, I noticed the property had been marked as Sold STC.<br><br>If the property had gone to another buyer, that's fair enough, but completely ignoring a serious applicant who has taken the time to provide all the required documents is incredibly unprofessional. Basic communication and customer service seem to be lacking.<br><br>A complete waste of time and a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend CJ Hole Downend based on how I was treated.
9th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)I used Rory from Connells as my mortgage broker. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and definitely knows his onions. Throughout the whole process he kept me posted and explained everything I needed to know. He went above and beyond as I'm sure a lot of the times he was calling me were way past his home time. Got my keys today and look forward to renegotiating in five years.

Also calling the office often for updates which seemed to be no problem for Ria, had a lovely experience buying our first home and we’re very greatful for all of the help ??????

16th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)Helpful and readily available to communicate by email, online platform is useful for overview of viewings / selling process. Only issue was that sometimes I explained to one agent about repairs happening on the home but this did not seem to be communicated to other agents who were showing the home, so prospective buyers did not know this (I was asked questions by an agent after a viewing for something I already communicated)
