26th Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)* Poor Communication and Unnecessary Delays<br>* My Worst Experience with a Letting Agent<br>* Great at Winning Business, Poor at Delivering It!<br><br>My experience with Accor Letting Agents was extremely disappointing and, to be honest, very stressful.<br><br>The process took around five months, during which calls and emails regularly went unanswered. The initial marketing of my property was poor, with an inaccurate description and the main photograph showing the rear entrance to the block rather than the front-facing apartment overlooking the park – the property’s biggest selling point. I ended up rewriting the description myself and supplying better photographs, making the balcony view the main image.<br><br>Once instructed, communication became very slow. What was presented as “another week” repeatedly turned into another month, leaving me feeling strung along. There appeared to be very little internal communication between staff, and I often had to chase for updates. Ironically, the only prompt contact I received was when additional fees or payments were required.<br><br>They were excellent at pitching for my business, but the service that followed fell well below my expectations. Based on my experience, I would not use them again and cannot recommend

5th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Brookbanks were an absolute pleasure to work with and we would definitely recommend using them. We had a bumpy process with solicitors etc. but Karen was there every step of the way and was key to help us moving in good time. Even after the sale they checked in to see how we are getting on. We can not thank them enough and will definitely be in touch for our next steps on the ladder!!

Buying a house is stressful but he really did manage to reduce that so much for us. His colleagues in the Chislehurst office were also wonderful when called into action.

They were incredibly helpful and informative at every stage of the purchase and sale, on our completion date and helping her settle in during her first few days and weeks there. I'd recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat, especially to anyone with elderly relatives who need that extra support. Thank you Drewery!!

From day one, they’ve always been professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. Lisa is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and that tenants feel heard and looked after. Any issues I’ve had over the years have been addressed promptly and with real attention to detail. It’s rare to find a property management team that truly values both the property and the people living in it — but Lisa and her team really do. I feel lucky to be renting through them, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and friendly agency.

We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the two of them throughout the whole process. We were kept informed, at every stage, as to where we were & what should be happening next. They were also very proactive concerning both the buyers & our solicitors when & as required. It has been fantastic to find two highly motivated people where nothing seemed too much trouble. 17th Jul 2024 (2 years ago)The brochure experience - prepaid - was poor and when l finally did get a copy l found it had yet another error. Nobody ever apologised for all the errors. They continued to market the house after the contract expired. l asked them to cease and to acknowledge that they had done so - nobody bothered to reply.
